At least he is honest.
I think some fans were so entrenched in the idea Solskjaer was the start and end of all our problems they expected us to batter everyone once he was replaced. Big shock incomingI underestimated us. I thought it might have taken to about mid January before supporters started to turn on him
Perhaps he wants to judge those players for himself after training them to play a certain way and with a set of instructions. If they're too thick or lack the ability to carry it out he'll bench them, or advise to the board they need to be replaced. We've just been played off the park Vs Norwich and Newcastle. We got 4 PTS but didn't really deserve any.
This isn't a new manager bounce. It's an absolute mess. He's still picking all the same players who everyone wanted dropped.
Refreshing, but it’s not like he can drop players who don’t perform for players who don’t want to be here. Going to end up fielding the U21’s
He has to take some actions though. He would have better success managing youth players and players like Cavani. We have some prima donnas and some absolute dross.Refreshing, but it’s not like he can drop players who don’t perform for players who don’t want to be here. Going to end up fielding the U21’s
Rangnick turned players 1/3rd as talented into pressing machines at every other club he's been at. These players are just being exposed, there's nowhere left for them to hide, they've got every manager they've ever had at United sacked. Everyone can see them for exactly what they are. Solskjaer got these jokers to 2nd last season, they just downed tools like children this season, and likely won't pick up their tools until they've left the club or things get easy for them again.Same problem Conte had with spurs apparently.
Good manages get a tune out of players, Klopps reserves beat Leicesters first team last week.
We have plenty of good players who all look clueless.
Who is the main enemy?Out main enemy is also giving the ball away too cheaply. That can’t be coached. It’s instinct.
The irony is that ‘control’ is all Ragnick was talking about in his first press conference and how we needed to control games betterLast ten (against Newcastle) was chaos. We played and ran back and forth like a championship team. Wasn’t much class or control. Why didn’t we calm down instead of jazzing things up and be part of Newcastle’s hit and run effort kind of play. Our players ran like headless chicken, resulting in giga space for Newcastle counter play.

I wouldn’t be surprised if its true. All i remember from second half after our goal was Maguire holding on to the ball in our own halfConfirmed stat or just some random bullshit you've come up with?
At least he is honest.
Well Bruno, Ronaldo and Sancho aren’t bad players but we need more balance. Our weak areas are super weak so it doesn’t matter where we’re good.
Come on.... Are people really turning on Rangnick already?
Ok the performance was shocking but we had those kind of performances under Ole many times this season.
Seeing the post match reaction it is clear Rangnick doesn't accept that kind of performance and I'm sure heads will roll and some players will get dropped for the next game.
The style of play Rangnick wants can't be drilled overnight and will take time to implement.
Yes I have a feeling Rangnik will make changes now. Problem is, and Klopp said this, its a huge task to make impact with all the games coming thick and fast.Rangnick will bollock the players publicly and privately. That is the difference. Solskjaer would've said we fought well, got the equaliser and had good chances to win it. Rangnick won't settle for this mediocrity. Sure, there's questions over tactics but he's got a 6 month job to find out who will work for the club and who needs shipping on.
Why should he admit that?It worries me that he refused to admit that the system could have been at fault in that interview then. But it's a little early to be panicking and rating him. But it's not been a great start.
I feel he was never going to change the system that hes worked so far. Nor would Tuchel and nor would Klopp early on in their times with the clubs. They would tweak personnel in game but keep with the system they've trained on.Doesn`t look good that he can`t make in game adjustments to correct what`s going wrong. We have been awful for the full 90 against 2 of the weakest teams in the league.
What the hell happened in those first 25 minutes against Palace that we can`t even get close to now?
