Again the issue is with the notion of "established ones or most decorated", since when assistant coaches move that way at senior level? Surely everyone on this forum realize that it's not actually a thing and that assistant coaches are entirely linked to a manager or to the structure of a club, they are not established or decorated on their own. Also the point could make some sense if we were talking about a rational and open market of assistant coaches but it's not the case and has never been, people are applying a logic that has no reality. There isn't actually a market of assistant coaches, the system is built around personal circles and who is or isn't in the circle of a manager/director of Football and assistant coaches absolutely follow managers even on short term contracts.
