If he has ambition, though, why move to Arsenal?

I think City are the only realistic team he can move to in the PL.Precisely. I don't think it even makes sense to him from a financial point of view. Are they really going to fork out £180k/week for Sterling? I'd be very surprised if he ends up there.
Is it true he has 3 kids with 3 women? Bet they'll take a fair whack of any pay increase. If the rumours of him declining 180k a week are true he's as good as gone from Liverpool in the summer.
Sterling's a brilliant talent obviously, but anyone else agree that Oxlade-Chamberlain is an even better talent? Injuries are his problem though, but if I had a choice between the two I'd take the Ox.

He's got two years left as far as I'm aware. No chance he'll go on a free. He'll either sign a new deal or be sold for decent money. If the rumors are true and he is a United fan, then we need to do something about it, Sterling on a free.
And the state of RAWK.

He'll go city because they really need home grown players. They'll pay him top dollar too.
Obscene amounts being rumoured, a gamble for a club to pay a hefty transfer fee plus £200K a week.

Well QPR do like an outrageous wage or 10...There have been murmurings for a while that his family want him back down south.
I don't want him here personally, he strikes me as someone who's going to massively flop after a 50M move.
Really? Think he'd be great here... We have a strong manage and a very level headed squad. He will be a star from a boy amongst seasoned winners i.e. Rooney, Di Maria, Mata, Carrick, RVP.. We don't do the superstar stuff unless it benefits our marketing
He doesn't strike me as a strong character, and big money moves add too much pressure on players, some players can handle it, others crumble.
there was a good article about him the other day, saying liverpool poached him from QPR to make him the highest paid 16 y.o. ever, then subsequently made him the highest paid 18 y.o. ever and now are outraged he's vying to make him the highest paid U21 player ever. Pattern of behaviour, lad has a plan and is sticking to it. Fair play to him, I would kill for that money. He knows he has a shelf life and is just getting himself the best possible deal.
I think he'd be a great Arsenal signing, but like most people are saying; i think he's a stick on for City.
I'm sorry but feckin hell we should be doing anything we can to get him if that's the case. Great talent and homegrown, one of the most exciting young wingers in the world. Him over Depay any day.
