You don't turn down Falcao, he is unbelievable. It'd be hideous if City get him.

Oh my...This isn't really happening, is it?

I'd love it if we're really in for him, but it would be really strange as well, and make us more top heavy than we already are.

If he's available you have to get him. the complete centre forward with 3 years of top football left, loan welbeck sell hernandes then next year get rid of rooney or rvp if there not up to scratch. would also deny our rivals him. which is allmost worth it by itself. No chance we catch city or arsenal for 3 or 4 years if they get him.

Dare to dream, dare to formation:

Blind
Herrera - Mata
Di Maria - Januzaj
Falcao

------Falcao Rooney
---------Mata
Di Maria-------Herrera
----------Blind
Shaw----Rojo----jones---Rafael

Or

-----------Falcao
Di Maria----Mata----Rooney
--------Blind-------herrera
Shaw----Rojo---Jones---Rafael

It's hilarious to think about it but consider a few things.

1) We've been linked with Cavani all summer so there's rumblings about a striker.
2) We've lost Hernandez and Welbeck isn't happy either so numbers aren't there
3) Rooney is in awful form, perhaps LVG realises he's not going to return to his old self (though why he was made captain I don't know)
4) RVP isn't getting any younger and is injury prone, perhaps LVG can't trust him to stay fit any longer

If we bring him in and he lights up the league (which he definitely could do) then we get an RVP 12/13 type boost despite him not being what we needed.

Almost makes sense. Almost...

If RVP genuinely needs knee surgery it would kind of make sense.

Falcao and Di Maria in the same window is just too outrageous. I'm not buying into this one, if it happens i'll be stunned.

Falcao, Rooney and RVP at the same club.. outrageous.

Is Instagram about to strike again?

Tbf I just saw his followers and he follows most top football players including tevez, raul mereles, juan pablo angel, Gerard, hazard, terry...

Not much in it that he follows a few United players too.

He is a brilliant striker and IF Welbeck also leaves - which I don't want to happen - then he is more than welcome! But still odd and totally unexpected! Oh and he is better than Cavani for me, no doubt!

Ed was said to be dead set on Cavani as a statement signing, at least Falcao is a genuinely world class striker. Probably the best in the world.

Oh my god. Oh my fecking god.

It goes against all logic in terms of what positions we should be after, but if we sign Falcao, well, I genuinely don't even know my brain would react. Best outright no.9 on the planet IMO. His goal scoring record is ludicrous. He's better than Rooney and van Persie, and honestly I'm sick of that fecking partnership.

Falcao in United's #9 shirt...

He only started following our players on Insta in the last 24hrs if i'm not mistaken?

Its a typical Fergie signing.. Feck Midfield let me sign a striker on deadline day...

Surely not. He has City signing written all over him, and he's been linked with them for ages.

Could it be them feeding rumours linking us to him in order to sting us even more when they sign him...? Shall I put my tin foil hat on?

I wouldn't put it past them though!

But anyway, surely not. No chance.

I can see RVP in the next few years being a player who comes in and out of our team due to injuries, never having a season like 2012/13 again. He will still be an asset to us but not consistently our main man like he has been, I could be proved wrong on that mind.

Therefore, if we sell Welbeck and Hernandez why wouldn't it make sense to sign this beast for a few years? He may be short on pace and also not a spring chicken but still, world class player.

Having said all that I am convinced this is total, total bollocks. I don't think we should sell Welbeck.

We have signed Herrera and Blind this Summer. It may still look thin but that's an instantly better midfield than anything we have put up with in the last few years.

With Aguero and Jovetic often injured he would make complete sense for City.

 you want him to....admit it. Trying to convince yourself that this is bollocks, deep down you know it is a possibility. Totally out of the blue, but given the Cavani rumours earlier in the summer, Woody is a total muppet. I would find it better if we tried for Vidal, but Strootman in January and Falcao now would do it too.
