You have just described our RvP transfer. Actually the fee wasn't that bad at all for RvP, but you get what I mean.
He's a phenomenal finisher who won't start most games. He is what we'd call the definition of a 'luxury player'.
Falcao would be useless when our defence and midfield are in shambles. The club hasnt got a clue how to build a team. If we got Hummels and Vidal, then on top a Falcao would be immense. But for now, piling up world class strikers isnt going to make us world class when we are massively lacking in other areas compared to our forwards.

Yes I do. I think we will get back in the CL once players come back from injury. I think we were underachievers last year coming 7th and much better than that anyway, and I think this year so far we have been adapting to LVG's philosophy whilst also being fecked by injuries.
An upgrade on what we've got like RVP was in 2012, but just like back then you'd really expect that we've gone long enough without sorting out the other areas first.
