Radamel Falcao | Ducker: Medical passed!

Arsenal supporters seem to think that they walked away from a loan deal at 20m GBP +

So, if when everyone is fit*, do Rooney , Van Persie and Falcao all play? Will be very interesting to see!

Also, why are Monaco getting rid?

*I know, ridiculous suggestion.

Apparently the Monaco owner lost €4bn to his ex wife in a divorce and is cutting his losses with the football.

This is also 2 fingers to all those who emotianally lash out at Tancrdei/Ballague whenever they had sweet dreams crushed with something not working out.

To think two journalists of their stature simply sit down and 'make things up' is ridiculous. Both have broken our two biggest deals of the summer from what I've seen.

I don't get one thing though, is it a loan or a purchase ?

It's a one-year loan for £6M, with the option to buy him for £44M by the end of the season.

Assuming he has a good season, we will probably exercise that option. Basically, he's ours now unless we don't want him.

Where does it explicitly say that anywhere? As far as I can tell every media outlet and ITK is reporting something different. I don't think anyone factually knows yet.

I love you guys :D It's like your board is a bunch of rats in a lab, the sweet stuff gives you electroshocks, but so what: Do it!

Will this be another window without a CM, while adding Falcao to Van Persie and Rooney?

Neither of them broke Di Maria or Falcao. Di Maria was broken by Man Utd Sainz and Falcao by Columbian journos.

The speed of this has taken everyone by surprise! Would be up on it soon I think.
Juve would never agree to that.

Don't think it's that unfair to be honest. The loan fee would be a high one to allow for the circumstances, and the obligation to buy would not be iptional, providing appearances are met.

It would be a bizarre signing but as a loan at that price it's an incredible deal.

This is an incredible deal! And a loan move is actually ideal.

For those who don't think we need this, look at it this way:

Rooney doesn't look like a goal threat nowadays, looks more to be a team player
RvP may be undergoing surgery soon, signs to me that he won't be fit again for a while
Hernandez is going to Madrid
Welbeck as a main striker? Purleaseee

I am absolutely buzzing about this news. if he has recovered fully from his injury, then we are getting one of the most complete #9s in the world. Our attacking threat has been non existent this year, let's be perfectly honest. A mere £12 million loan for a world class striker will give us an incredible boost.

Ahhh I just can't believe this is happening! This must go down as one of our, if not the best window. Shame Benatia couldn't have been done, because that would have been beyond spectacular.
Spot on.
People don't realise he was the best striker in he world at one point, he thrives on wide play and through balls. Always getting in behind, perfect for Di Maria and Mata

MUFC, even out of Europe we are still the big dogs around here.

Not arrogant......just better

Its too late in the window to make a loan deal for a player they don't even want to sell. Monaco/Falcao circumstances were vastly different.

Fair enough, I saw Tancredi tweet re: Falcao first, and Ballague seemed the first to go really big on Angel.

Judging by the quoted fee, it surely can't be more than a year.

Wait. Am I being a bit thick? (don't blame me if I am)

Why would we need to agree personal terms? Surely that would be part of the loan deal with Monaco?

Logic takes it in the bum again! Feels like Man Utd again.

Hererra and Blind. And Vidal.

Forgot about Herrera and Blind? :smirk:

Lets get serious for a minute, how bad was his injury and will he ever be the same player he was for Atletico Madrid?

So this is where you source your stunning insights into football?
