Do you really think that is the most pressing problem with the squad?
This nonsense again. Why have you concluded that we had a choice between a top CM and Falcao and chose the later?

Fair points. The fee mentioned is excessive but it doesn't concern me, the club is loaded. It does not make the squad unbalanced in terms of numbers but we will have 3 superstars with huge wages and one of them will be on the bench... Unless Robin, Rooney and Falcao somehow all start in some formation in LVG`s brilliant head. And we are looking to straight buy him so that rules him out as a short term solution
I`d have signed him in a heartbeat if it was the season he moved to Monaco... Surely he is worth less than 60 million now ?
I get the feeling that your opinion is that we're prioritizing Falcao over a midfielder/defender. I don't think that's the case at all.Do you really think that is the most pressing problem with the squad?
Yup, I think that's how many people are reading it. The reality of the current situation is that money isn't a concern and thereby we aren't choosing Falcao over a CM.This nonsense again. Why have you concluded that we had a choice between a top CM and Falcao and chose the later?
As long as there were two left wingers, and he played behind the other one...Yeah more like a Left Winger.
Possibly because this is the last day of the transfer window, and I assume if we are going to compete with the rest of Europe's elite in a very expensive and complicated deal then that will demand quite a bit of our attention, meaning we'll have little time, or money, left to close other deals. This nonsense again. Apparently he is also following some United players on Instagram.
That would be a pointless signing. Neither City nor United really need Falcao. Both clubs have a choice of quality strikers, while United have other areas they need to improve and City needs to think about FFP. Buying Falcao would require a huge financial commitment, the kind of risk you take when you're desperate for that kind of player and no other will do.
If United are wiling to risk lots of money on a player coming off serious injury they'd be better off taking a gamble on Vidal's knees. At least, the Chilean would be a big help in midfield, where your team really struggles.

Rooney would have no augment with that as captain either! If we do sign Falcao I'd be tempted to believe that this is the start of a shift in Rooney's position to midfield rather than up top. Unless we're splashing huge money on a CB or a CM as well as this Falcao deal then that's one of the only ways I can see it making sense.
Surely there's a limit. With both Falcao and a midfielder coming in, we'd be approaching 250 million.Exactly.
Money isnt an issue, that much has been made pretty clear this season. Regarding time, it isnt as if we have 1 man running around trying to close deals who'l be late for the CM signing if we do another deal to go with it.
Whether or not we get a CM, it'l have nothing to do with us getting a Falcao.
Rooney's cross-field passing is the best. After some of the shite from our midfield on Saturday, I can understand him being moved back. Trying to turn him into Scholes maybe?
I don't think a loan deal is any kind of value at all. Not for £20m.
At least with a permanent signing we'd get additional commercial revenue. I mean Falcao in the biggest league in the world, that's hella marketable.
If you look at it from a FFP perspective. A loan deal is a £20m payment + wages for one year. Whereas a transfer (on a 4 year contract) is £12.5m per year + wages.
It doesn't make any sense whatsoever. LvG complained about the squad being unbalanced and now he goes and makes more top heavy than ever? does not compute.
He would cost insane money, he is 28, just back from a serious injury and does not solve our most pressing problems. Doesn't even add genuine pace to the attack.
Surely there's a limit. With both Falcao and a midfielder coming in, we'd be approaching 250 million.
And of course time is a factor, just look at Coentrao last year. We should be prioritizing the signings we actually need, not the luxury ones.
Why would we sign him? He might be better than what we have but obviously we have much more pressing issues!
Edit: loan move is also a bit baffling
Not sure, he has to have knee surgery I thinkRVP is injured? For how long?
Rumors he needs a knee op for ligament damage that he postponed in order to play the WC under pressure, ironically, by LVGRVP is injured? For how long?
