One thing I took from Saturday's and last week's game was, and yes I was that bored, anytime Rooney had a chance or done something, the camera would cut across to the bench and LVG would be writing frantically in his folder....

If, and it's a big if now, this Falcao stuff is true, it's very very interesting on the Rooney front....And obviously the RVP front
Can't blame you for being bored enough during that game to go spotting all of that!

Do we think that in a few years time we'll look back and laugh at this moment? Thinking we'd actually sign Falcao?

(If we do actually sign him, well....)

What in the feck bizarro world did I step into? We're buying another striker??? This makes absolutely zero sense unless RVP is out with a long-term injury. How's it clear to everyone else but LVG and Woodward that we need CMs and CBs? Mind-blowing stuff. Well if this turns out to be true, one thing the fans can't accuse the Glazers of is not spending money. Although spending wisely, is a completely different story.

I am laughing right now.

If we blow another £50 odd milliion on an attacking player, while our defense and midfield is still such a mess, I will be beyond pissed off.

The Vidal thread hasn't been posted in for 3 ours and the Falcao thread has gone into overdrive...

Insane, even for deadline day, this is insane.

I think we'll be signing another midfielder, Falcao or not.

I wonder if Monaco would sell us João Moutinho while we are at it...

Wouldn't we be doing the loan move this year and sign him on a permanent next?

That would keep the finances in check this window and allow us to sign another midfielder. If we're buying Falcao for 55m today, that pretty much rules out another midfielder.

Midfield? Pffft!!

To hell with that, we'll just outscore everyone else.....2 goals in 4 games is pathetic

Would be crazier still, if we also bought in another midfielder along with The Tiger.

Actually this is madness. Just buy Vidal for 40m or whatever they want. Let us switch to 4-3-3 and keep Welbeck if RvP needs a knee OP.

Right I've been looking in to this on twitter and these Columbian journos seem 100% sure we've signed him. I'm actually believing this is happening. Wow.

Don't get me wrong, I'm down as feck to get Falcao, but still, I look at that midfield and think it needs some more attention.

Thats the weird thing, Juve must have been real dicks to negotiate with because clearly we are spending the money this summer.

If we can spend 200 million, I see no reason why we can't spend 250 million. Believe!

Rumour has it that, Juve wanted to buy Falcao all summer......

This is Ed basically saying, "Blow me bitch!" after not getting Vidal.......Providing this is true btw

To be honest RvP is injury prone and is 31 now so can't be playing every game and will probably have to settle from the occasional start and otherwise coming off the bench. Also, Rooney partnering van Persie has been shown not to work so maybe a new partner for him in the mould of Falcao would work.

The only issue I'd have with this is that it'd probably mean we're going to stick with the 352, which I wouldn't be too happy about but hey.

Ordinarily would agree but Vidal has serious knee issues... just pay another 20 on top of the 40 and get Pogba back!

I do think Juve have tried to be cnuts with us!

You'll be happy with the 352 once we have everyone fit. Shaw and Rafael in place of Young and Valencia and it instantly changes into a good system.

Yeah, you're probably right. Once we have Rafael, Shaw, Rojo, Herrera and everyone else fit it might just work.

is Woodward on a coke bender right now? 65 mil on Falcao? You could have bought any midfielder in the world for that money.

Serves them right then, it also prevents city or Arsenal from getting a striker of his calibre plus Woodie did say in that interview that he wanted to stop all the stars from going to Spain :)

Watching that video i was sure he was left footed. Turns out he's right footed. So good with left foot it's almost unbelievable.

The only possible reason I can think of in United signing this guy is that the rumour about RVP undergoing knee op is true.
