65%- 35% sounds about right.Agreed, although Lyon has come through tough times in terms of quality and playing in PSGs shadow domestically, they have improved but - Barcelona should be at least 55%. I'd go 65% - 35% to Barcelona over two legs.
In form? They were extremely out of form, lost 3-0 at home to Bournemouth and 4-1 away at Watford in that month
We did dominate them though. We totally controlled the midfield, created plenty .. our only issue was being wasteful in the final third. We were in control of the game but our youth player fullback made an early error, it happens. You can dominate a match but still not win it, football can be like that.
We got incredibly unlucky to go 1 down vs PSV, dominated the game and created lots of chances and eventually 2 of them went in. And sure, everyone expected Inter to beat PSV but then I think the two best teams in the group stages went through. We outplayed Inter at the San Siro but they scraped two goals at the end from nothing, totally our own doing but they weren't impressive throughout. We got 'some luck' in the final game but were totally lacking luck in the early matches, so that balances it out.
The opposite.Possibly the worst draw we could get
Are you a PSG supporter?
A Mourinho team was knocked out by a 10 man PSG at home the last time they played.....so, you know.
He was managing Chelsea at the time.what match, tell me the date/when was that match?
From what I know, mourinho came to manunited in summer 2016.
The last match United vs PSG was in 2015, and PSG won 2-0, but still, it 2015, BEFORE mourinho arrived.
Nah... it's all the same. We may be lacking experience across all the lines bar Matic and De Gea. I mean, CL experience that matters. But Rashford and Lingard (and Young) have now a semi final experience in the World Cup, while Pogba won it. We will have to reply on that to slow down the tempo when it will be needed and not waste too much energy. This is the only situation where I'm upset Jose still isn't at Manchester United. It remains to be seen how to the team develops under Ole but if they build up strength this suddenly becomes a much more tricky game than initially thought.

After that, we are just going to have to be more careful about the full backs because Neymar and Mbappe are going for those spaces for sure.

You do realize we need to score goals to win games? We got away with a smash and grab win in Turin but PSG would have easily whacked us left, right and center with Jose in charge. This is the only situation where I'm upset Jose still isn't at Manchester United. Some of my friends who support other clubs feel that we atleast had a chance to beat PSG with Jose (like the Juve away game) but now we don't stand a chance. It seems some United fans share that opinion too but I feel the exact opposite. You actually think Jose would steer us through against PSG in the CL? He's lost all semblance of tactical nous. We were in for a heavy defeat under him.
We still may be headed for a heavy defeat, but we know we will atleast try to do something and not bend easily under Ole.

Mourinho's last three 2nd leg knockout games in the CL read as the following:
Chelsea vs Atlético Madrid (1-3)
Chelsea vs PSG (2-2) gets knocked out against 10 men
Manchester United vs Sevilla (1-2)
All at home with favorable circumstances and he got knocked out every time in a rather humiliating way. Our chances with Ole are no worse than with Mourinho after you take into consideration the latter recent history in the competition.
Jose's tactics vs PSG. Park the bus, a cruise liner and an oil tanker and hope to nick a goal with a vespa
Realistically do we have a chance against PSG? A tiny one. Damn I really want to be hopeful but it is so hard esp after seeing the bookmakers odds. It will be a massive shock if we upset PSG. Bar last season, Mourinho has a damn fine record in Europe. Maybe he could pull out some magic and mastermind a win like he always seem to do it. Park a double decker bus and win ala Greece Euro 2004 or Chelsea CL 2012 style. Sigh.
Jose, tell us about your opinion on the match.
"I have noffing sho say."
Nothing about the 6-0 loss at all?
"Fussball Heritage"
"I was a champion when You woorked at Tesco"
"Respect respect respect"
The opposite.
I think a hammering would definitely be the final nail in the coffin for Jose. The next round CL matchs are in February and by then United would also have lost any mathematical chance of finishing in the top four.
The draw couldn't be sweeter.
February couldn't come sooner.
I think we all know how Jose would've set up for this match and it may have even gotten us through but it would've been soooo dull that any sense of spectacle and glamour would've instantly drained from the tie.
With Ole I'm confident we'll score atleast 2 goals in the tie, also unfortunately confident we'll concede.
These two legs will be a reality check - as much as I'm enjoying having Ole in charge, this is going to be a bridge too far. Their forwards are going to tear us to shreds at the back.
Yes, but you know, their stars are not used to a cold night in Manchester where the grass is wet and slippery, or even frozen. 1-0 to us.
When it looks bad, a coincidence can turn everything over, Neymar gets a red card after ten minutes, so we don't give up until the game is over.
0-0 and we move on!
