To call this predictable would be an understatement.
Surely everyone can see through this now?

One of his previous tweet was about the democrats, now he plays the Antifa/radical left angle and next he is going to directly link Antifas and radical left to the democrats.
Wow. They’re tapping the vein deep to get those who will try to buttress their side.Wait - I heard Mark Furhman appeared on Fox News? What the hell?
Thing is both antifa and Trump supporters want chaos and violence. Equally. It's part of the process: who is on your side and who is the enemy within? That's how you quell a real revolution, by introducing confusion.
Hopefully the Minnesota mayor is more on top of this than anyone else, and more importantly is only interested in the truth.

Fair enough, Pexbo and 4bars. I certainly wasn't making them out as bad guys. Good to know they are doing the right things. The confusion point stands where MAGA supporters will carry the antifa banner and cause trouble from within the protestor circle.
The background of what is now called AntiFa is really interesting and includes some very brave and good people. Worth reading up on if you’re interested. Basically they were the only ones physically standing up for oppressed minorities when the police were firmly on the side of the ones attacking them.
I think that's a unique way of looking at the killing of Soleimani.
The problem with the perception of the AntiFa is that enough radical leftists used them as banner to commit acts of violence and destruction on a similar level as radicals from the other end of the political spectre. Extremism of any kind is just harmful and counter productive. From an outsiders perspective the problem in the US is that the rift between social and conservative ideologies has grown so wide and deep at this point that moderation between both sides seems extremely difficult. There is no place anymore for actual political discourse, just an us vs. them culture, inflamed more and more by the fool in the Oval Office and the GOP in genereal in a desperate attempt to cling to power while the Democrats can´t get their shit together and actually build a unified front.
If you're antifa and you're at the protest and you're not black, you need to be there to protect black people and not use this as an opportunity to cosplay your revolution fantasy and escalate things.
Its a shit situation all round. But if protestors are blocking the car and preventing the driver from going anywhere, what exactly is their recourse here? It seemed like the driver revved aggressively to get the protesters to move out of the way - which worked - so took the opportunity to get the feck out of there.
The cops should have prevented the initial situation, but they arent wrong for then preventing the protesters from enacting mob justice either. The videos dont go on long enough to see if the cops then actually arrest/warn the driver, so it is unclear.
Street cops are disgusting
Not that unique, I’d agree with @BobbyManc that he hasn’t been looking for (military) war with Iran.
He's been trying to goad Iran into it his entire presidency, IMO.
To be fair to the cops at the bottom, they have no idea what the red truck driver has done and can only see loads of ANGRY people tying to smash up the truck.
This crisis is well and truly out of control, as police are wilfully or accidentally committing many other transgressions for civilians to empathise with and localise to.
Anyone want to predict how this whole thing will play out and for how long?
I remember reading an OJ-trial book by the society & Vanity Fair author Dominick Dunne, in which he lauded Fuhrman as a fine, highly intelligent, 'great cop' and misunderstood man who'd been wrongly ostracised. As the Caf saying goes, Dunne went down in my estimation. That’s where I caught it OJ aside, I mean - even for Fox that’s pretty low right? This is a man who is on tape spewing racial epitaphs.
twitter has already found him. Would think these idiots should know by now that they will get found out.
That would mean comparable to Christchurch, Charleston, Pittsburgh, El Paso, Oklahoma City, Utoya, the NSU murders, Hanau, Rostock-Lichtenhagen, Solingen (and many, many more). Can you point to examples in the last few decades? The problem with the perception of the AntiFa is that enough radical leftists used them as banner to commit acts of violence and destruction on a similar level as radicals from the other end of the political spectre.
Just a random one but this is one of my favourite songs, and seems rather appropriate for the current situation.
@Florida Man - man that panhandle is acting up again.
