Premier League Matchweek 3 (26-27 August)

Everton seems to have a back 5 and then two defensive midfielders who are terrible at playing the ball forward and Rooney and Sigurdson are very similar players. They have nobody in their team that can beat a man or run in behind. What a chore it is to watch this side.

All true, and all that for £130 million. Any attempt at detecting a form of intelligent life behind their whole transfer campaign is hopeless.

I'd imagine it is. Wayne's at times looks worse than if he had just gone completely bald. It makes him look a lot older.
It's not a bad option if you're still only just started showing signs of balding. it's expensive but not incredibly so. Think you can get a good one for about 2.5k. Course if it's as bad as Wayne's it'll cost four times that. Bilic I'm not sure why he got one, he has the frame and build to pull of the bald look.

Chelsea know Everton cant string two passes together, so they are more than content for them to have the ball and faff about with it in midfield, then win one and break quickly.

Can't understate how disjointed Everton have been. Absolutely no idea how to play.

Aye perfectly reasonable tactics.

Christ you could hear a vole fart at the Hawthorns. Come on @JamesB__ give it some beans!

Some men just cannot deal with the idea of losing their hair. Vanity thing in some cases. Some it really knocks their confidence.

He got lucky with Lukaku in such good form last season( not even his player);a player who loves to run at defences.

He sold him but didn't replace him

2 goals and 2 assists is NOT fitting our side?
Well I assume you are watching your matches and you saw that at both goals it was a bad mistake from defence rather than smart movement from Morata, similat how Rashford goal yesterday was more because of mistake of defence than because his good movement.
Also his assist today was a failed attempt in one-two which luckily failed back to his head, his first assist if I remember correctly was also a lucky flick with his head rather same great pass.

But I don't doubt his quality as I said in first post, I doubt he will fit in well with this Chelsea side who need player like Costa who can hold the ball up, be a focal point of the attack etc. and Morata is not that and it was visible today and against Tottenham.

Is Pedro going to wear that mask forever? I forgot what his face he looks like.

Morata is very good but lukaku suits our style and is also a very good footballer.

I can't say this enough, everton are shite. Will be surprised if they finish 7th.
Not wrong to say they have one of the worst attack in the league and whoever was in charge of transfer has no idea about football.

What does Sandro need to do to get subbed? Absolute joke of a player.

Edit: And he had the cheek to act surprised

Mate not trying to have a go but both his goals were the result of smart movement behind the defense timed to perfection. Rashford's goal yesterday came because he stood still at a corner kick and wasn't marked at all. How on earth can you say that they're similar?

Also, if you're discounting the brilliance of his first assist then I don't know what to tell you. He's very obviously done exactly what he planned to do:

Chelsea's crowd looks like its been bussed in from the Wimbledon tennis tournament.

I've looked for any other football watch apart from this, Everton are hopelessly brutal. And Koeman had the gall to not be 'impressed' with us last season
