Premier League Matchweek 3 (26-27 August)

That's an awful team by Liverpool. Arsenal have so many better players, yet you can't really bet on them, can you?

Edit: Never mind, I just saw the Arsenal team. Why play your best players when you've got Welbeck, am I right?

That Liverpool bench is brutal. Arsenal in contrast have an excellent bench. Walcott, Giroud and Lacazette on the bench.

Some Arsenal fans gonna flip out pre match with that Wenger`s decision

Is Lacazette injured? Why is he on the bench? :wenger:

I really hope Liverpool-Arsenal lives up to the defensive shitshow it promises to be

Lacazette would have a field day against this Liverpool defence. Klopp must be thanking his lucky stars its Welbeck up front

For sure.

Wenger surprises me every week. First Kola and Monreals as CB's, now Welbeck over Lacazette and Kolasinac on the bench.

Wow.

Kolasinac on the bench whilst one of Bellerin/Oxlade-Chamberlain being played out of position at LWB. Lacazette dropped to the bench whilst Welbeck starts. What the actual feck is this team selection? It's actually so frustrating having to watch this shit week in week out

They tore apart the top 6 last season. They'll get a result today I imagine especially given how terrible Arsenal have defended lately.

Poch given the axe to Wanyama, not even on the bench.

I want to see how Lacazette, Alexis and Ozil do together. Those 3 with Giroud and Ox could make for some nice attacking play.

Surprised to see Kolasinac dropped.

So when Arsenal needed a goal last week he took Lacazette off and now this week Lacazette is benched from the start.

Very odd.

Why no Robertson for Liverpool and Lacazette/Kolasinac for Arsenal?

Good to see that big game Everton will never change. I know they have had a busy week but my god they have been shite today

Zouma breaking the adboard with that shot  absolute meat head

Everton have been awful, but I do need to remember they have bought a lot of players this season, and Koeman will need to work out what formations and group of players will give him that balance.

Certainly dont think hes got it right today, and although they drew against City, they also looked pretty poor, in my opinion.

I'm not watching the game, but that's sounds harsh

A goal and an assist in a 2-0 is about as much as you can ask for from your forward

If you were watching the game you'll realise Everton are so poor Djemba Djemba would have a field day against them. If he couldn't score here then I'd be worried about him. Even B'yoko has come on and is looking good

Maybe Alexis is being eased back in with a striker he knows? Not sure about Kolasinac. :/

Can't say I am enamoured by either game. If WBA vs Stoke is the sporting equivalent of watching a hen get wet in the rain, Chelsea vs Everton is like watching a cat getting run over by a car. Tragic.

And WTF is up with that Arsenal XI. Lacazette and Kolasinac?

Why does Wenger keep doing this to himself. Hoffenheim would have scored more if their striker was not Gnabry.
Lacazette should have started. Looks like Bellerin again at LWB. Always tries to prove his mistakes justified by doing them again.

Welbeck is there for his movement. He probably is better in that position than Lacazette. Don't know why people are that surprised.

Everton are going to really struggle this season.

They aren't going to score enough goals and they also look a very slow team.

You mean the striker position? Welbeck is a better striker than Lacazette? What?
