Premier League Matchday 4 (Sep 9-11)

This is a stupid lack of context. It's the fact Mane has gone into a challenge he's second favourite for, sprinted into it with full force, and recklessly endangered his opponent that is the issue.

The players you mention might sometimes control a high ball, but it's nowhere near alike.
As for Nani, his situation is nowhere near the same thing.

in a nutshell

He got studs in the face because he ducked in to head the ball. The picture you are all pointing at to slam Mane clearly shows that the keeper isn't at full standing height. Mane was trying to touch the ball that he had his eyes on, Ederson was trying to touch the ball he had eyes on. That's why head and foot were at the same height.

If you're going to ban that fine. It's obviously dangerous.

But then you need to ban half the pieces of skill shown in this video:

You can't make it a rule only if someone happens to steal in ahead of you because as we've seen with Nani and imo today, sometimes a player focused on the ball won't see the other player.

Does any player in that video stud an opponent in the face and not get sent off? If so I disagree and they should have been.

I'm surprised anyone can argue

Well it's always fun watching this shithouse get beating but it's City doing it and it's slightly getting boring now.

City's conversion rate is worrying, they seem to need one offside goal per goal.

This is terrible now. Can't we just call it quits and take the 3-0 loss?

Human jaw is surprisingly strong, concussion was probably the biggest risk. I wonder how he'll react to it now though. Cech lost his aura of invincibility after his head injury.
Well, not that Ederson looked good before, tbh ;)

Klopp showing his management ability here, playing 5 at the back but still playing them on the half way line.

City are absolutely battering them.

This is what it's like supporting Arsenal in these games.

Your lads need to forget about a consolation goal and see the game out.

Otherwise this could turn into the 1-6 we experienced when we went chasing a lost cause.

Are you talking about City's or Liverpool's? Because they are not exactly apples and oranges, easy to describe them in the same way.

Liverpool's defence, City's defence isn't great but it is far better than the scousers, especially with a fit Kompany.
