Premier League Matchday 4 (Sep 9-11)

KDB has an absolutely immense cross. Best crosser I've seen since Becks

If this is not a red, then Bruce Lee could as well become greatest footballer of all time if he had ever played the game (after knocking down 11 opponents unconscious in one move every match)

De Bruyne again. Brilliant footballer. For all the fawning in the first half over Mane he's been the best player on the pitch. And the most decisive.

Could be an embarrassing scoreline this..

Moaning, ranting and complaining to the fourth official about the red card in his loveable way. I don't understand how this guy still gets away with his bullshit behaviour.
Passion!

Can't stand him and his self awareness.

Big result for City this given how many points the dippers take off the top 6 sides.

Are you people insane for thinking thats not a red or its me who lost its mind.

I don't know if there's much point me watching the second half.

If you raise your foot above waist height when another player is that close anywhere in the world it's a foul. When you actually make contact it's at least a yellow and you can't complain if it's red.

yep, and if you don't know the other player is there, the rules assume that you should do, (Nani)

Lets hope this gets embarrassing for Liverpool. Their mini league is off to a flyer.

Reminds me on nani's red against real. As i recall rule is- it is irrelevant is it on purpose or not. If he can injure opposite player, it is a red. If you are a pundit, ex player and a ex coach like gary, then you must know that.

Don't care about the game just hope the guy is okay, that looked really bad and I doubt he was moving.

Salah is fecking awful.

If it wasn't the obsession with pace around here he'd be laughed at Zaha or some other shite style for his end product.

Hope city smashes those disgusting cnuts. Klopp is the most disgusting of them all

So was that bruce lee kick to the face rock and roll football?

It wasn't dangerous. It was a violent offence. Dangerous is when a player does what Mane did and misses the opponent. In that case, you can make a case of it being, maybe a yellow, although it's perfectly fine to give a red without any contact being made. When contact is made though, it becomes a violent offence and is a clear red regardless of the intent argument. Intent can't even be proved unless a guy just hits the other player in the face on purpose. About 90% of all red cards being given are for bad late tackles.

Well what you are saying meant Mane tried to assault the keeper. Which never happened. Its was dangerous play and deserved a red, no question
