Premier League - Matchday 18

Why are people on here so happy about Liverpool winning the league?

I can only answer for me but I try to take my joy where I can. No, I don’t like the idea of Liverpool getting a clear path to the title, but seeing the likes of Chelsea or City implode at home is just funny.

Everyone certain they'd have a big drop from Klopp, but instead he's done far better than him.
And odds on to win the same big prizes Klopp managed in 8 years in ONE!

Sickening.
He built this team. And won a CL and a few cups to along with the league. Our agent Klopp has done a job on the league from afar. We just need Slot to finish it off. Happy days

C'mon Ruud, pull off a Christmas miracle later.... not that'll matter much.

Right, so only Arsenal we have to hope can pull something out of their arse from January onwards.
Saka's missing a hamstring. Don't expect anything from Arsenal. Might as well hope that someone cooks up a new flavour of bat soup.

Fulham really impressive. So aggressive in winning the ball back, and good technical play in midfield. Marco Silva is a great manager.

Yeah Liverpool are just gonna stroll to the title. Annoying.
That’s been known for some weeks. Such poor quality challengers this season.

For those that labelled Chelsea to be like Oles managed Man United I doubt that Chelsea team will finish 2nd in the table.

But there's no joy in something happening, when it leads to something way worse happening.

When Salah eventually falls off a cliff physically you're done.

Yep, the comedy that some took that as an insult, when they should see it as aspirational.

Said it from the off Slot was a better in-game manager than Klopp. At times Klopp sometimes was stubborn and kept to the same plan which to be fair often worked. But he never seemed to have a Plan B.

If Slot last 7 years there they will win a lot more with him than Klopp

Alright City, alright Chelsea, we'll have to do it ourselves. (someone please stop those scunts!)

Only if you also enjoy whatever the feck you lot are doing this season.
The most worrying thing for me as a United fan, is how much money can go so little of a way.
I think you lot are the poster boys for that.

So much spent and no decent striker, not a great defence, not particularly good wingers, just Palmer really. Take him out and you're battling for 6th.

Better than battling for top 12 like us, but still.

I know. He’s very fit though. Doesn’t drink and all that. I guess your prediction might come true in about 4 years

It's all eggs in the Arsenal basket.
A couple of signs of form returning, scoring 5 away from home twice. But then a couple of crappy giveaways v Everton and Fulham. The former being an absolute nightmare giveaway.

He'll go at the end of the season, but you'll probably find the new Salah seeing how your recent fortune has gone.

But there's no joy in something happening, when it leads to something way worse happening.
If you can't find joy in what's happening at City just because the scousers may win a measly second title in 35 years, I think you're too damaged and can't be helped.

Also if Pep does leave in the summer I would expect Liverpool to walk it next year too.

Deep down the majority on here like the way Liverpool play. And the way they've done it fairly too without any cheating.

Plus the fact their fans are all such charming, reasonable characters, and the way the club have never conducted themselves in anything like a classy style.
