Premier League - Matchday 18

I know. He’s very fit though. Doesn’t drink and all that. I guess your prediction might come true in about 4 years
I hear this thrown about a lot recently about him. It's not like the rest of the top players have a few every week or something.

I'm sure even Mane was just as disciplined and Bayern still got ripped off.

If you can't find joy in what's happening at City just because the scousers may win a measly second title in 35 years, I think you're too damaged and can't be helped.
It's a surprise, but when United are the worst they've been in 30 years and Liverpool will very likely match our league records, joy isn't really a word i'd use.

Exactly. Ronaldo's physique makes Salah look weak, yet his powers still dropped massively with time. From a far higher level.

This word is so ridiculously overused on here
I can see why you'd think that.

However, the fact is that all it took was for a few whispers of a possible title challenge for the Chelsea manager to cry "we're not ready to challenge for the title" and the team promptly dropped 5 points after having won 5 or 6 games in a row! I'm sure it's all familiar to you and that's why it struck a nerve when someone used the B-word.

Robinson is the type of galloping LWB we need.

Apparently at 27, he’s too old for us mate, if you read some of the comments in the left back related threads.

One of the best in the league for me. Would set us up nicely for about 4 seasons, perfect for Amass or that Leon kid to settle in.

Pretty sure Salah and Van Dijk will sign new contracts. TAA might go.
TAA 100% goes, as you won't get near the ballon d'or as a right back at Liverpool.
I don't personally think he'd get anywhere near it at Real - but he'll see it as much higher a chance.

Van Dijk stays I expect, but Salah not sure at all. It'd be a mad move from Liverpool offering 400k a week as he'd want 3-4 years

Chelsea blown it and I was told yesterday by some dipper fans win the lot this year. I don't think I've heard it before ! .. league is there to be lost only Arsenal can realy challenge now. Give Salah his 500k plus a week 5 year deal and VVD as well same keep them tie them up for long long deals please .

Their excuse is that we won't challenge now so we need players that won't be 30 and over by the time the team can challenge. The dumbest thing I've ever heard.

Him or someone of the same profile. We are dead in terms of creativity from out wide

You can't bottle a title race in December, whilst in second place.

Lethargic midfield, zero physicality and no one interested to make runs behind defence with acres of space to attack

You can't build a team around Bruno's attitude. Amorim is fecked whatever he does. He's going to need more than a year to clean this mess.

Bruno's another one who needs binning off. 2nd red card this season, 3rd if you count the one that got overturned, for a captain in a struggling side that's a disgrace.

Aside from being a human grenade launcher, he's genuinely the worst MU captain I've ever seen.

Wolves should the smart thing and prepare their Championship budget by selling us Cunha

Cunha to Arsenal, Ait-Nouri to Liverpool look like very obvious moves that will improve both teams.

Nothing will convince me that Holjund is a PL striker.

Absolute ghost.

I rate him tbh. I think he’s good but I always felt a move to United so early was the wrong move for him.

I’ve only been watching this game since HT, don’t think I’ve seen him touch the ball once. He looks so isolated.

He's honestly not.

His positioning and situational awareness are awful, his first touch dreadful, can't hold the ball, can't link up, and I've never seen a striker of his size getting so easily bullied.

He contributes to nothing in this team. That was the case under Ten Hag and now under Amorim.

He won't cut it in the PL.

He can do all those things to a good level. He’s also good at running the channels, stretching the defence, but United rarely put him in good situations. He looks well short on confidence at the moment. He’s proven he’s a good finisher if given anything resembling satisfactory service.
