This happening to newcastle is funny. I see they arent wasting time or picking up knocks in this game.
Absolutely this. I don’t know how these people survive day to day with such pessimism. Some of you are honestly insane.
If Newcastle were winning you'd be panicking and saying oh no we'll never catch them now!
Villa are winning and you're now panicking about them being 6 points behind us and ooh if we face them they'll hammer us.
I don't know how some of you enjoy football whatsoever, all you seem to do is worry and moan.
No problem. I mistakenly thought people on here understood that there are separate threads for bashing our own players.
Hard to say but I think I'd lean draw > Newcastle win >>>>> Spurs win. Newcastle will probably get top 4 anyway, but draw gives us better chance at 3rd... Spurs win throws it open and would be huge for Spurs.Spurs and Newcastle play each other next weekend it's important we win tomorrow.
Playing home vs away is very different.I wasn't bashing anyone, just said that Watkins vs Maguire is nightmarish.
I didn't say that Maguire was slow across the grass, slow at releasing the ball, slow in a turn or that he can't play in a high line (IMO).
he's shown loyalty to his boyhood club for as long as possible without the threat of relegation. that's why he hasn't moved, in my opinion - along with west ham routinely refusing to talk about selling himBecause Rice is English, and any young English player who gets in the England team is destined for World Class greatness it seems. Realistically, if Rice was any good, he'd have moved to one of the teams he's linked with for the money West Ham want for him.
Win tomorrow and then a draw between those 2 will be ideal given we've the cup semi next weekendSpurs and Newcastle play each other next weekend it's important we win tomorrow.

Surprised with that Newcastle result, I suppose the result would be the other way round if Steven Gerrard was still manager of Villa instead of Unai Emery. Hopefully Brighton and Spurs drop points this afternoon but i don't trust Lampard's Chelsea or Bournemouth to get anything.
fecking hell Villa are in sixth? I just assumed they were fighting relegation all season
No the Liverpool player was Alberto MorenoIs Moreno the guy that was having a blast at Liverpool and looks like a fat Gerrard?
Mad. I actually didn’t realise just how well he was doing. He’s a top manager.Villa were about 17th when The Count took over.
Chelsea were 4th.
Liverpool were 7th.
90 more minutes to randomly shoehorn Maguire into the thread. I'm not surprised you're excited.Looking forward to the Chelsea vs Brighton game.

He's such an idiot!
Maybe, but he's in the process of running his contract down so he can leave for free because his current club have priced him out of a move in previous summers. His boyhood club is also Chelsea, not West Ham, him and Mount are best mates and he got released and ended up at West Ham.he's shown loyalty to his boyhood club for as long as possible without the threat of relegation. that's why he hasn't moved, in my opinion - along with west ham routinely refusing to talk about selling him
You would hope so but anything can happen from here. Newcastle play Spurs next alsoIf Spurs don't win today, and we beat Forest tomorrow, top 4 should be a formality.
We don't have much of a team right nowIf we don’t beat Forest to take advantage, I think we can all agree that we don’t deserve Top 4, any more so than some of the teams below us hoping to pounce

We'll win against Forest. Tails are up after the disappointment of Sevilla, everyone will be focused on bouncing back and getting a result in the league to stop the rot.We don't have much of a team right now
Yeah you would hope the distance between us psyche's them out more than anything, which is totally a Spurs thing. If Spurs also lose or draw to Newcastle next weekend it's done. No way we are bottling a 4 or 5 point lead with 2 games in hand to this Spurs team, even with our injuries and lack of stability.
Thanks for the clarification. Alberto was awful and brought me many moments of joyNo the Liverpool player was Alberto Moreno
Villa's player is Álex Moreno
