Premier League Gameweek 12

Even if it isn't a handball for a penalty (which it is) isn't it a handball in the build-up to the goal? Or had enough arbitrary time passed?

Also, why was Salahs not checked for offside?

Now that's an interesting angle, but I suppose it's too far after, and so far up the pitch!

Dangerous push in the back by TAA and Neville doesn’t make a peep

Explain this to me, how could VAR possibly have viewed that decision and not overturned the goal?

It benefitted liverpool. That's it

In 2005 UEFA changed their own rules so liverpool could defend the champions league. They were a poor side who finished 5th in the league for a reason. They went on to put up the worst defence of a European cup in history, going out at the group stages.

Anything that can be done to help them out gets done. Ben the same for years. It's an institutional bias

Another pointless push in the back from TAA after play's ended, and still nothing from Oliver. Jesus fecking christ, how obvious can you get in your bias? Sterling also getting a talking to for being pushed outside of play.

City’s full backs are all over the place.

For me, the thing the offside picture shows the most is how unclear the situation is. Could be offside, could be on. The total lack of replays or pictures from the VAR check baffles me and seems quite fishy. Not screaming conspiracy, just that some nice narrative wants to be kept uphold.

Stokes looks like he is playing him onside
This is the point though. It’s so close that they haven’t even showed us the replay to clear it up?

If they disallow Sheffield’s then that HAS to be fully checked. We’ve seen nothing

Turned it off at 2-0.
City won't score, let alone get back into this.

Oh well, can't worry too much about stuff you can't control.

Switching between this am Feyenoord - RKC is quite depressing. Hardly the same sport.

Bravo doing his best to keep up his shot on target to goal conversion there but couldn’t get out of the way in time

Guardiola criticized athleticism in football and Liverpool are showing him why it does matter.

Click into the actual tweet you've quoted, and 3 pics down is how.
this?

those lines.... :)

The whole sequence on the penalty was weird. In my view of football it should have been a fk in the box for liverpool on bernardo's handball. I would be pissed off if the goal gets taken off for that though....what's shocking is how Oliver didn't see either clear handball, when he was right fecking there :wenger:

Second goal, still trust in VAR. They get to watch it from multiple angles. Why they didn't show the check though is beyond me...

TAA's arm was not in an unnatural position according to the Premier League.

I thought that was irrelevant under the new rules?! If it hits the arm, it’s handball
