Premier League Gameweek 12

Gotta give it to crowd at Anfield today. Compared to Old Trafford today which looks so bleak.

Was onside

Looks like Stones is playing him on. When it's that close, it's entirely forgivable to let that stand.

But it should be the role of the VAR, to draw loads of those lines and check it for ages to see if it stands out or not. They did this even for our second goal today so why this one ?

Sometimes biasness is too much. Bernardo's hand hit first.

TAA's arm was not in an unnatural position according to the Premier League.

I didn't think it necessarily needed to be going into this season. Thought the rules were different??

Feck knows. I don't think i understand the rules in football anymore.

Alexander-Arnold is supremely talented. Two-footed, great touch, can dribble. If he can keep Sterling relatively quiet today he'll answer those who criticise his defensive quality too.

Why do they keep banging on about the fact Aguero hasn't scored at Anfield?

Bloody hell not even Aguero getting anything at the moment

Salah was onside. And the benefit always goes to the attacker if it's marginal. Nothing to see here.

TAA is having a worldy with his passing today. A huge asset to have a RB that can play like that.

I was under the impression that VAR was only to intervene when the infraction is deemed 'clear and obvious'.

City won last seasons game through the finest of margins, looks as if it’s going to be the other way round this time.

Michael Oliver being lenient. Doesn't show a yellow to Fernandinho either.

Okay so it wasn't offside, good to know now its out of the way. Wonder what was the reason the pen wasn't given then.

Handball from Bernardo Silva?
