It's becoming apparent that rhe players he has are incapable of adapting to it.Amorim has come in with his system and rather than adapt it to fit his players, he’s decided to run with it and will likely stick with it no matter what hardships he encounters. If Amorim changes his system he’s admitting he was wrong and managers like him don’t like to admit they are wrong. I could see Amorim, like ten Hag, being willing to die by the sword rather than change.
He needs players who are fast, intelligent, technically adroit footballers. The current lot are as slow as coastal erosion and as thick as mince.
We don't have any money so pragmatism is the order of the day.
We can't allow ourselves to be drawn into a relegation scrap on the back of the manager's tactical inflexibility
