I think Jose set us up today to not lose, rather than go for the win, and anything more is a bonus. He has done the exact same tactics twice with Liverpool this season would you not agree?

Yeah definitely the first Liverpool game, I think the second game at OT Pogba played quite poorly which scuppered our chances. But yeah, bit surprised he didn't go for it more tonight, it was quite painful to watch.

Outside or not, it was a more dangerous chance than anything we produced. There is no emotion to take out of this, City weren't impressive but they had the best chance to score

Herrera's header I guess?

Dunno which chance was better.

Hope this is Fellaini's last game in a United shirt....utter disgrace what he did which tjere is no excuse for!

For all the folks on here saying it was a great defending. We had all 11 players defending for 90% of the game. If they had of scored we would of been the biggest joke of the year. get real ffs

The most shocking coverage I've ever seen

This. Using the spider-cam for corners is absolute joke.

Hard-earned point. I understand that Fellaini fell for Aguero's trick but you must be smart in these games. You know that these cnuts will use any trick they have. And Fella fell right in to one. I can understand why people are mad at him.

I think that City are rather annoyed that they couldn't finish us off. Unbeaten run continues, nothing changes.

We had three central players out, and we were away to City. If you ever expected us to run the game you were fooling yourself. Our chance was always going to be on the counter, and it was a good plan. The only problem is that, with Pogba out, we didn't really have anyone to send Rashford away behind the City defense. Carrick could have done it, but he played so deep that he rarely had the ball in the position to do it. Martial and Mkhi did little more than run the ball into trouble, and Fellaini doesn't have the skillset to see an open pass, let alone create anything.
Do you honestly not think that a mid table team would have offered more offensively tonight? If Mourinho needs the most expensive player in the world to show some ambition, he probably shouldn't be here. Of course he doesn't though, the man did these sorts of tactics when having the likes of Di Maria, Ronaldo and Benzema on occasions, it has nothing to do with the players he has. He just refuses to play football against anybody decent.

Why am I seeing mature dating at the bottom of my page? Is it because I keep defending Corbyn?

we really are fecking hard to beat
I know! Even we're complete shit and have key players out! Reckon we spend 90% of our training sessions practicing defending!:D

Happy with the result, not the game. The unbeaten streak continues. We'll be in top 4 for the first time since September if we beat Swansea on Sunday.

4 points from City and Chelsea is more than we expected so let's forget what a shitfest it was and move on.

No much to say good solid point considering our situation.

3 first team CB's, our best CM and our top goalscorer out and then we go down to 10 men after a rogue sniper shot Aguero and Fellani got blamed.

Mkhi was the worst I've seen him since... funnily enough since he played against City back in October.

Did anyone else see Aguero butt fellaini rather than the other way round?

Another pathetic unambitious performance. Tony Pulis football from the most expensively assembled and well paid group of players managed by the supposedly "best manager" in the world.

Jose better win us Europa because a sixth place finish with this type of football would be utterly pointless.

Hope this was the last of Fellaini in a United shirt. Still cannot believe he plays for us.

Long for the day when United can go toe to toe with the big boys. Underdog football with our 30m Armenian Kagawa and most expensive teenage buy ever as auxiliary fullbacks is not a good color on us.

Aguero dived to get Fellaini booked and was coming straight to Fellaini, he just matched him and it looked like a headbutt.

All of you are saying everyday that we are missing fighters in the team but when one player does that, he is dogshit. Oh come on. Fellaini shouldnt have done that but he had a decent game overall.

Unless if he is Herrera, nobody can get a red card without being hated in this forum.

We have enough quality to hurt them on the counter. And we did hold on to the ball we created some openings like the Mkhi chance. But once one of the attackers got into advanced positions, they didn't get any support. Why is that? Don't tell me, they are don't know how to make supporting and attacking runs. They have been instructed to keep positions instead of making any incisions. That is very negative

Said it would be a draw before the match. Went as I predicted bar the sending off. Luckily it was late in the game. Good point earned. Good performance.

No because that's the game, he put his head up against aguero having just been booked and play had stopped because he fouled ....aguero!
He's a total idiot and has no place in our team, why do it? Why act like a big oaf and put yourself in that position? No other player on the pitch would of done that and he deserves all he gets.

I was hoping he was going to kick off more and get an extended suspension
I'm so fed up with people saying falling on the floor and pretending to be hurt is part of the game. It's blatant cheating and needs to stop, whether it's a United player diving or not it's needs removing out the game not just accepting it. I don't know why we can't give players a 3 game ban if there caught diving or cheating after the game.

I agree too. Just keep the same wide angle and everything is fine. I hate when they use the cam behind the player for pens too.

Frustrating and disappointing to watch. We clearly came for just a point, parked it up. Terrible and boring to watch. That said, credit to the players for sticking it in for 97 mins; it was the tactics I'm disappointed in as the player effort was off the charts. Embarassing in my opinion for Manchester United to be playing it out for a draw in the derby, regardless of the injury situation, etc. Can't stand it.

Fellaini played so well up to where he lost the plot. Unexcusable the head butt. I don't know what he could have possibly been thinking.

Rashford looked dangerous, but had zero chance with the tactics employed. Martial was nothing more than an auxiliary left back.

Classic Mourinho, love it or hate it.
Think if Pogba had been fit it might have been different. Either Carrick or Fellaini may not have played and Pogba is more attacking. We have a patched together side, so they fought hard. The ref didn't help either.

Got sick of them waiting for their "AGUERO!" moment and the wankathon when Jesus (Christ) returned. They, the commentators, are also very keen to make Herrera out to be a scummy player. Wouldn't shut up about it when Toure went down.

All of that said, good point. They can stick all of their criticisms and obvious disappointment up their asses.

Too bad Fellaini didn't think to fly backward when Kunny walked into him. Aguero's first instinct was to dive and then flop. Problem was, Fellaini can't act to save his life.
Honest but rash.

Fantastic in defence, the rest of it was utterly garbage. Can't decide what was worse out of our passing, some refereeing decisions and those horrific camera angles. How Otamendi wasn't booked in the first half on Rashford was crazy.

We were shite going forward, but they didn't exactly create a host of clear chances either. For a large part they were restricted to long range efforts and snap shots on the edge of the box.

I dont think there was anything particularly wrong with the tactics.
Our passing and general use of the ball was just dire - i wouldn't have thought that was part of the plan

Our attackers didn't run today?

Yes, City were the better team and probably deserved to win, however I still can't help but feel gutted.

Our attack was awful. I rate Jose a lot and think he is the man to lead us forward, but I'm really disappointed in him tonight.
