Meh.
Decent result but means we need at least four points from Spurs and Arsenal without dropping others.

Had the best chance of the game, good result but it feels bad due to all the stupid draws at home

Not too bothered about the style of play - but I still think we could have tried to attack a bit more - not all out attack as circumstances are not in our favour what with the amount of games played plus injuries etc - but put some kind of pressure on. We didn't really test that defence or bloody Bravo at all, which I find disappointing.

Anyway let's win on Sunday and that game in hand over Liverpool.

Oh, and Atkinson is a right cnut!

Bailly and Blind were absolute stalwarts at the back, Valencia was solid as usual as well. City had no clue how to break us down and resorted to pot-shots from outside the box.

Without Pogba or Mata we lacked an offensive threat, we literally had no one in the midfield capable of linking defense and attack. This needs addressing in the summer.

Fellaini's sending off was harsh in my opinion. They both clashed heads, Aguero decided to go down as if he was shot.

Looked to me like they both dipped their heads - that said, it was a fecking stupid move by Fellainii given he'd just been booked.
It wasn't a head butt but if you do that, in front the ref, I have no sympathy at all.

Shit Fellaini, shit ref, shit game. Horrible to watch. Still could have won it if Herrera did better with that header just before half time.

Excruciating.

Basically conceding the game to City after giving them free reign over the ball. We can blame the players all we like and give them negative ratings and whatnot, but Mourinho is in part culpable for the negative tactics today

Fellaini is a moron for lowering his head. Aguero is a cnut but it's all Fellaini for being the type of player he is. He was never suited for United and I hope this makes him gone.

At the start of the game, my cousin and I were discussing the likelihood of this game ending up with one or more red cards. I mentioned that the likeliest candidates for us would be Herrera or Fellaini. Thing is, if Herrera gets a red card, it's because he works like a fecking champion, gets stuck in, does everything he can to help the team. If Fellaini gets a red card, it's because he loses his fecking head and throws an elbow (or a head, apparently!). He has his value, but I still don't want him anywhere near the club, and I never have.

Painful stuff. Without Pogba we needed the best version of Mkhi and he wasn't there, and nor was anyone else. On the bright side, a decent result off the back of one of our worst performances this season.

Whilst I'm not going to defend Fellaini at all, was a clear red no question, the ref in the first half was a disgrace. The number of times Rashford and others skinned the City back four and were taken out with no free-kick never mind a booking for them.

Aguero dived to get Fellaini booked and was coming straight to Fellaini, he just matched him and it looked like a headbutt.

All of you are saying everyday that we are missing fighters in the team but when one player does that, he is dogshit. Oh come on. Fellaini shouldnt have done that but he had a decent game overall.

This

Not sure what people expected. Honestly people need to have a big dose of reality. We are down to the bare minimum.....

Worst game of the season. No appetite at all.

Clearly injuries are hurting us, but even still that was terrible.

I guess Mourinho figured a draw would do and conserve the players, or simply we are just not good enough and missing key players.

Bingo!

Decent first half, shitty (too defensive) second one. Probably worked hard enough to deserve the draw but not much more.
Agreed. I think Mourinho will be happy with the result.

From a fan's PoV, having to accept a draw as a good result is painful. But with the key injuries we really have to. We just couldn't afford to lose.

Dumb stuff from Fellaini as well. This is what he is like, there is no escaping it. He does not have the ability for me, and with this extra baggage I just can't see how three managers have all been such big fans. I get that he follows orders and puts in effort, but he is a liability in many ways and we can surely do much better.

Had Herrera put that header away it would've been a smash and grab on Sheasy at the Kop end level. Decent point with 10 men.

Ha ha afroman that was stupid, but aguero milked that, even threw his head back to make it look worse. Looking at it i would say both players put their head in.

Was shit but I'll take the point, rashford looked shattered all game, mkhiy was rubbish, thought lingard should have started. Blind played well, as did carrick, valencia and bailly. Herrera had too much to do, could tell we missed pogba.

Ref was shite, a few of their players should have been in book first half which could have changed it a bit.

With Rojo, Mata and Ibra out for the season and Pogba injured, I'd have absolutely taken 0-0. Wasnt pretty, though.

Absolute dearth of creativity in the side with Ibra, Mata, Pogba out. Draw keeps top 4 alive and there's not a single person on here who wouldn't, if offered, have taken 7 points from Chelsea home, Burnley & City away.

Pogba presence would've changed nothing, we went for a draw and no injuries, so I guess Mou will be happy.

We seem to be well drilled defensive side without much talent up front, but that's mostly because we attack with 3 players.

This is exactly what I thought. We played like a shite relegation club parking the bus
It's tactical genius apparently. What is bemusing is that some are praising us for defending well. Even bloody West Brom defended well when that's all they did. It's literally the easiest thing to do in football to defend well when committing your entire team to it.

Weird question but do you think he meant us to play like that? Scrap out a draw I mean.
I think Jose set us up today to not lose, rather than go for the win, and anything more is a bonus. He has done the exact same tactics twice with Liverpool this season would you not agree?

Outclassed in midfield, our front three could have caused them real problems but couldn't get ball to them. Fellaini was useless and idiotic, no harm in him being banned for a few games.

We set up for the draw with massively limited options and got what we needed.

On to the next one now and we're still in the hunt something I doubt would have happened had we opened up and gone toe to toe with them.

I was pumped all day for the derby. Aside from the first 15 minutes, it was atrocious.

Does Atkinson know what a foul is? Rashford got the shite kicked out of him. Fernandinho and Otamendi should have had 4 yellow cards between them in the first half hour. Barely any of them were even given as free kicks.

It was the performance I expected. Zlatan, Mata and Pogba out, 3 CBs out, forcing Blind into CB who is 5th choice was just too much. Take out City's best striker, two best midfielders and field their 5th choice CB and they'd probably play shite as well.

Fellaini nutting Aguero and Jesus' prolonged celebration were the highlights.

The knives will be out for Fellaini on here - and rightly so. He's played quite well lately, but it's 'quite well for Fellaini'.

He's prone to these moments of brainlessness and ends up costing us. It's just a shame Sunderland are going down, cos we could have sold him to Moyseh.

Eh, couldn't really expect more. In fact, I expected less. Liverpool are the team to beat for fourth, but they have relatively light opposition until the end and we don't. If I were a betting man, I wouldn't make a bet here.

Barely deserved point will do me fine. Win Sunday and that'll put the shits up 'pool!

Fellaini experiment very nearly over … hopefully. i know he has his fans on here but in my opinion he's much nearer Stoke standard than the benchmark of what I believe the standard of a Manchester United player should be!

Would much rather have seen TFM or AT at CB and Blind moved up next to Carrick with Herrera in front. Would rather have seen Young on from the start too but what do I know?

24 unbeaten and only 5 goals conceded this year in the league.

Nice from Pep at the end, obviously had Carrick in his fantasy team this week

We probably have the strongest squad in the league, in fact I would say the squad is a greatest asset at present, certainly more so than they quality of the first 11.

I would suggest Jose would agree with my thinking as he hasn't been able to find and stick with a first 11 all season.

mourinho not having a stick with first 11 doesn't translate into our squad being strong. a bunch of our players have underperformed several times hence him constantly having to tinker with the team

Absolute dearth of creativity in the side with Ibra, Mata, Pogba out. Draw keeps top 4 alive and there's not a single person on here who wouldn't, if offered, have taken 7 points from Chelsea home, Burnley & City away.

Absolutely 100% spot on.....
