Exactly the type of game and result I expected. A good point.

When all is said and done a good point away with a decimated squad that has played more games than them. Leaves us with the advantage still over liverpool. Could have been a whole lot worse and if it had been the last few seasons we would have rolled over.

Feel sorry for Felliani, first was a booking fair enough, Aguero dived for the second and the way he went down after that "headbutt" was embarrassing.

Fellaini is a moron for lowering his head. Aguero is a cnut but it's all Fellaini for being the type of player he is. He was never suited for United and I hope this makes him gone.

Horrible to watch. Also, Fellaini's clearly too much of a liability. Sadly, I doubt that'll be enough to convince Mourinho.

Only real positive is a point. We just have to feck up less than Liverpool and win oir game in hand.

It's a good result given the circumstances I guess, it's a shame we didn't have any proper chances in the second half like we did in the first one. We're injury struck, had to play 10 for the last 15, I'll take it I guess. Still Europa is our best hope.

Well, we have to win at Spurs now. Other than that it's fine I guess.

Also that was the worst TV direction ever.

Crap game, happy with a point.

What the hell was Fellaini thinking? Couldn't have happened to a nicer cnut in Aguero though. Made me laugh even though it's a disgraceful act that could have cost us, though in fairness we were just as blunt attacking before he went off.

Shit performance but considering 12 v 10 in an away derby where we can catch Liverpool its a good point gained

Also 24 unbeaten

Considering the injuries to key players, a point away to that lot isn't the worst result.

I expected more from us though, the threat was obvious with the pace we have in the side but we just didn't get in to those positions to exploit it. Second half was difficult to watch, we had no composure on the ball and didn't threaten City's aging defence and blundering keeper once.

I'm not Fellaini biggest fan but I Ageuro did a number on him tonight. The argie cnut went head to head and went down like a sack of shit. Atkinson was right there and couldn't wait to get the red card out despite letting Fernandinho get away with 5 yellow card offences.

Feel sorry for Felliani, first was a booking fair enough, Aguero dived for the second and the way he went down after that "headbutt" was embarrassing.

Yeah i thought he was one of our better players besides that.
Best going forward (not that its much of an achievement with how poor the rest were)

We managed to make sure no football was played. Which I suppose is some sort of achievement.
Perfectly put. That was our intention from the beginning. Destroy anything they threw at us. No different to our approach at Anfield really or many other Mourinho away performances. It worked obviously so I suppose we should be happy with that, that's what we're paying for after all.

This game was a good highlight on the lack of quality in some cover players. Little doubt that mourinho will invest in 2 midfielders and a full back alongside the obvious attacking recruitment.

On the positives, Bailly Blind and Valencia were superb.

Phew that was brutal to watch, but I'll take the result. Many disappointing individual performances and a shocking team performance, but let's hope this is a one-off. We're getting down to the bare bones midfield now, which is a major worry, and Rashford may be injured as well. Lots of worries for the next few weeks. On the bright side, a point at the Etihad is a point gained, especially considering the state of our squad. On to the next game.

Good result for us given the injuries and red card. A win at the weekend and we will be back in business.

It's a good point and credit to Jose for superb game management and organisation. There's no better manager at looking at a situation and using his available resources really efficiently.

On the flip side though, I think he got his tactics wrong today. I feel that we should have been at their throats from minute 1 and pressed them. That City defence is terrible and we didn't test it enough.

All things considered it's a point which puts more pressure on the Spurs and Arsenal games now.

I gladily take this and I don't think we could have done better with this squad

Feel sorry for Felliani, first was a booking fair enough, Aguero dived for the second and the way he went down after that "headbutt" was embarrassing.
Sorry mate fellaini was a clear red card, right in front of the ref, no blame on aguero as fellaini shouldn't of given him the opportunity

Stupid from Fellaini. Overall considering performances ob both sides, it is a point gained for United. Still unbeaten

Difficult to play city with so many injuries, but that a good point

Completely ignoring that we have a massive injury list including at least 4 players who probably would have started the game tonight...

yeah...i didn't ignore that, you however ignored me speaking of the squad as a whole. like the whole point of my post is that we lack quality when our supposed starting 11 is injured

What a bullsh*t performance. It felt like Sunderland were playing against City. Scared sh*tless for 90 minutes.

Very poor in attack but that was a well earned and hard fought point. Not sure if this does any good, all eggs in Europa basket now.

???

We're 2 points off Liverpool with a game in hand.

Frustrating and disappointing to watch. We clearly came for just a point, parked it up. Terrible and boring to watch. That said, credit to the players for sticking it in for 97 mins; it was the tactics I'm disappointed in as the player effort was off the charts. Embarassing in my opinion for Manchester United to be playing it out for a draw in the derby, regardless of the injury situation, etc. Can't stand it.

Fellaini played so well up to where he lost the plot. Unexcusable the head butt. I don't know what he could have possibly been thinking.

Rashford looked dangerous, but had zero chance with the tactics employed. Martial was nothing more than an auxiliary left back.

Classic Mourinho, love it or hate it.

Brilliant point to get. Squad was decimated and once Pogba was out - no chance of us going toe to toe.

Great fight shown by the lads.

considering the amount of money we have spent our squad is still wild average. woodward gotta have a look at this.

I mean, we had a 36 year old, fellaini and darmian starting a game of this magnitude. rashford and martial are good talents for the future but i also don't think they should be leading the line just yet. blind isn't even a CB, and even valencia could be upgraded.

that's 6/7 out of 10 outfield players that i don't think should be in our starting 11. so yeah, squad lacks quality.

Do you actually follow our injury list? Ibra, Pogba, Rojo, Smalling, Jones etc etc etc all out. Obviously the team won't be as strong as usual.

Personally very pleased with the result, our players did us proud. Fellaini stupid to go head to head with the diver.

We've drawn 40% of our games in the league. A stat Middlesbrough or West Brom would be proud of.

Top 4 still in our own hands.

Would have taken a draw before the game started. Happy to salvage a point after going down to 10.

Shit game but good defensive performance.

Downside for next few games: even less midfield cover.
Upside: won't have to see Fellaini. Hopefully Pogba will be ready for Sunday.

How anyone blame Fellaini for the red is beyond me. The ref was shit, it was Aguero who walked toward Fellaini and it was not even a headbutt. Or are we selling all those who got red this season? Like Herrera?

No finger nails left. Good battling performance in defence. Shame we couldn't have tested Bravo more when he was on but I'd have taken a point at 1959 tonight so.

We restricted them to half chances and hopeful punts outside the box, but my god we were terrible at getting the ball to the attackers.
Why are you surprised? Even Real Madrid struggled to create much when Mourinho got them to sit as deep and commit so many men behind the ball as he did us tonight. If Ronaldo couldn't do much, what chance does our lot have?

I think that was the only result we could get tonight. No attacking intention at all. All we had was park the bus and the big boot up the pitch. Fellaini should be kicked out. Nutting another player is a disgrace. Mourinho will need to bring in 5-6 players if we are to make a fist of the league next season. Chelsea at home and the 1-0 against Spurs we have been poor against the top 4.
