Good result at the expense of a bad spectacle. Not ideal but in a season of draws this is not up there with the most lamentable.

If you offered a draw before the match I would have taken it. We were decent in the 1st half but second half was very poor. Great defensive effort against their star attackers but we were clueless going forwards in the 2nd half.

Fellaini is a numpty. Such poor discipline, Aguero did look like he dived on the second tackle but you can't go in with a head butt ever.

It was what I expected and what the reality is - lacking our top goalscorer Ibra , Pogba , Mata and Rojo means 1 point is a good result .

I don't blame Fellaini - Aguero must rename himself to Aguera

Horrible to watch. Also, Fellaini's clearly too much of a liability. Sadly, I doubt that'll be enough to convince Mourinho.

Only real positive is a point. We just have to feck up less than Liverpool and win oir game in hand.

More chances of us fecking up as we are yet to play Spurs and Arsenal away. Top 4 is more difficult at this moment than winning the Europa.

Feel sorry for Felliani, first was a booking fair enough, Aguero dived for the second and the way he went down after that "headbutt" was embarrassing.

It will be blow well out of proportion. Commentators were talking about it if was a proper headbutt. Fellaini put his head down into Aguero's and as they were both moving towards each other it made it look worse that it was.

Herrera's chance was the watershed moment. Score that, and we'd have had something more interesting going on.

I would have taken a point at the beginning of the game, so happy we got that. I am however not happy at our football we played to get that point, because it was utter dross. We have proven we are better than the crap we just served up, so not sure why José shats the bed in these big games.

Barely any attacking threat throughout the match. Mkhi and Martial were playing as wing backs. Rashford had no service whatsover. Fellaini again showing his idiocy. Bailly was our best player. This match showed how important Pogba is for us.

Bar the sending off it went as expected. Unlucky Herrera did not score that chance in the first half. Good performance bar Fellaini's madness and a good point.

Good result given the circumstances, and how poorly we played today. We seemed to lack any composure and structure on the ball without Pogba, and even though Martial started brightly, he faded fast and became a poor outlet. Really missed a coherent link between defence and attack today.

I'm more surprised some people were surprised this was how the game was going to go.

Also, only needed 1 game to blow Bluemoon's Conspiracy Theory that the FA have set all of the refs against them out of the wate...

Definitely look a Mou team rather than a United one

Fellaini, no words

Did not expect Jesus to show so much quality so soon, even in the few appearances he's had

Not a bad point. I said if we get 5 points from City, Spurs, Arsenal we will get 4th and if we get 4 we have a fair crack. It's still in our hands and Liverpool will drop points you'd have to assume.

Poor game really. Aguero is a massive cnut.

Ultra defensive performance. A silly sending off from Fellaini especially considering our injuries. Point gained.

If that's the sort of ambition we are going to show against City, what can we expect from Spurs and Arsenal away later in the run in?

We might as well just pack the league in now.

It's sad to watch us play with so little attacking ambition, the midfield is way too one paced without Paul and the forwards couldn't run the defense or hold the ball up, lucky to get away with a point.

The best attack in the league vs The Walking Dead, not a bad result all things considered.

The result is the best thing out of this today, we gain on Liverpool, with a game in hand. Yes our run in is significantly harder, but we've got the chance to take a top 4 spot off them, and win two cups. It's better than winning sweet FA and not getting entry into the Champions League.

Not exactly sure what Fellaini was doing, it was a total brain fart moment, reminiscent of Gary Neville's sending off at Old Trafford.

Congrats to us! Fought hard, got the result. Suck my sweaty balls City!

I expected that performance with a different line up.

Horrible game, horrible individual displays, shit tactics, but not overly concerned in the grand scheme of things.

A point away at City has been a decent result for the last few years. Any regrets we really have are due to other games. No ground lost, only winners tonight are Liverpool.

Boring game, but a point is a point.

Jose and the lads did what they had to do and get a point.

Id Imagine Jose will be furious with Fellaini though, could have cost us the point, and ultimately a champions league spot.

Sorry mate fellaini was a clear red card, right in front of the ref, no blame on aguero as fellaini shouldn't of given him the opportunity

Looked to me like they both dipped their heads - that said, it was a fecking stupid move by Fellainii given he'd just been booked.

I love Jose, but feck me, that was a shithouse performance, long before Fellaini Fellaini'd. I can't even remember being in there half more than twice in that last 45.

I know we're missing a lot of players, but I swear every team in the bottom half would've put on a better attacking performance than that. Ugly as sin.

considering the amount of money we have spent our squad is still wild average. woodward gotta have a look at this.

I mean, we had a 36 year old, fellaini and darmian starting a game of this magnitude. rashford and martial are good talents for the future but i also don't think they should be leading the line just yet. blind isn't even a CB, and even valencia could be upgraded.

that's 6/7 out of 10 outfield players that i don't think should be in our starting 11. so yeah, squad lacks quality.

Zlatan, Mata, Pogba and Rojo injured. That's first team players in every position. What are you people expecting? Any club in the world playing away at City in this situation would struggle.

yeah...i didn't ignore that, you however ignored me speaking of the squad as a whole. like the whole point of my post is that we lack quality when our supposed starting 11 is injured

We probably have the strongest squad in the league, in fact I would say the squad is a greatest asset at present, certainly more so than they quality of the first 11.

I would suggest Jose would agree with my thinking as he hasn't been able to find and stick with a first 11 all season.

I would have taken a point at the beginning of the game, so happy we got that. I am however not happy at our football we played to get that point, because it was utter dross. We have proven we are better than the crap we just served up, so not sure why José shats the bed in these big games.

Weird question but do you think he meant us to play like that? Scrap out a draw I mean.

We restricted them to half chances and hopeful punts outside the box, but my god we were terrible at getting the ball to the attackers.
they were playing against 10 defenders for 95% of the game. We had no intention of trying to win.

Defensive masterclass

Fellaini fecked up any chance of going for the win in the last 10 minutes!

So disappointed in Fellaini, worked so hard to prove to everyone he wasn't useless then does that in the biggest game of the season.
