Sir Alex celebrating with Mrs. van Gaal :D

Just got back from Old Trafford now (including a few pub pitstops)

Absolutely buzzing. So fecking happy, to top if off I won £500 cash on a United to win + BTTS

We should not forget about the medical miracle we all witnessed today: A clear yellow at the very, very least. (PS; I did not create the vine, credit to creator)

Clattenburg's face

Just gotten back from the game, the atmosphere was one of the best I can remember for ages. Crap opening 15 minutes but the rest was great. Glad someone finally got on the end of Young's crosses.

First 10-15 min belong to city, remaining match belong to us.
With leading going into half time, there is no chance that city could win this,we stayed with our game plan and our guys deserve lot of credit.
If I'm not wrong, this was the first time in the season in our home games that we conceded first and still managed to win.

The one thing that has been missing from this VG United, is recovering from going a goal behind. We have not been doing that enough

Clattenberg's reaction says it all.

Just done my match ratings and they only came out at 6.6!! Can't believe it as we have just beaten our fierce rivals 4-2 after a very good performance. We started very slowly and City were probably the better team for a period of time and got their goal which was disappointing to concede. We got lucky with our goal but we had to battle hard to get back into the game and we started to take control. It was great to go into the lead at half time for our efforts as well. Second half we were definitely the better side in the second and some of our defenders really settled as well and we got two good goals. It takes the shine off a little to lose that late goal as we were head and shoulders better than them but it's still a significant win.

My best performers were Carrick, Fellaini and Young. Carrick showed great courage to take the ball under pressure from the City players and really tried to get us going forwards. Fellaini bullied Toure and ultimately battered their defence. Young scored 1 and made 2 so he made a great contribution to the team today. Credit to Valencia as well who made good block at a key time and ran up and down that flank all day long.

Feel it is a big moment for the club and just how City's 6-1 result against us signified their rise to the top, this result maybe signifies our return. On the other hand, City have lost 6 out of 8 and perhaps they may go crashing and burning for the rest of the season.

The work done on the training ground has been immense. Players who we would have happily seen taken out and shot have been excellent and deserve at the very least to be squad players. Fergie was the man as a manager and motivator but post Queiroz we really weren't with it technically and tactically. Then Moyes and his band of clowns came in and stuck it in reverse.

Just a shame LVG came in on a World Cup year tbh, without the ridiculous amount of injuries, this squad would be fighting the title.

The only player I expect to leave now is Evans and I am not fussed about that at all. Can see plenty of players getting themselves back on track and living up to their potential.

Proper pre season, 3 or 4 additions to the squad with as little upheaval as possible and I think we will be straight out of the traps and really take Europe by surprise, just by the nature of the coaching, we will be a much higher better prospect from the off.

Only downside is this will now prompt an expensive City shake-up and the installation of a big manager.

When City scored the first goal, I was genuinly scored thinking it was going to be another 6-1, thank god, we recovered quickly and got that goal from young

Not easy to get big manager though, there aren't any on the market at the moment.

Looks like he was actually going to book Fellaini before that reaction. His hand was reaching for his pocket.

Yes, someone else commented that it was a foul by Fellaini as well. I must honestly say that I don't remember the foul as much as Demichelis' reaction. I am selective that way, I guess but that'll teach him to make a spectacle out of nothing.

Yeah I remember it...I think he smacked his hand on Demechelis face. Seemed like a natural arm movement but it did catch him in the face so probably a yellow.

Did anyone get the clip from Thursday Focus where they were on about the kid that got hit by Rooney the other week. The said how Valdes gave him his shirt and a the signed ball from the warm up.

Helen Evans said that that whould never happen at City.

Shaun Goater quipped yeah because City players don't miss the goal from shooting practise.

David May quipped back that it wouldn't happen because there's no one in the seats.

The great thing from the heart of our performances, they are all coming from the midfield, an area that declined between 2009-13, we got that mojo back. I said this when I was not happy with VG's use of our options, its by far the most talented set if midfield options we have had probably since the keane scholes butt beckham giggs axis of 1997-03, we getting goals from midfield of mata herrera fellaini, and we are dominating these big games

I swear everyone was laughing so hard in the sports bar when they showed Demichelis getting up so quickly.:lol:

Beating City is already big in itself, but what makes this result even more special is that our 4 goalscorers are players who were heavily criticized at one point or another. Furthermore, I really enjoyed the way we controlled the tempo after they came out strong to open the score. City were never in it after Young delivered the quick reply. Very good work by the lads all around to make that a good old-fashioned slaughter.

:devil::devil::devil:

Felt confident about the game tonight, didn't feel like we would lose this even after going 1-0 down. Must say I haven't felt that way in a long time.

The scoreline 4-2 definitely did flatter City. Makes the game look much more tight than it was. Today was an excellent performance, the best part is that it was a come from behind victory as well, even though it didn't feel that way at the 60 minute mark. Absolutely delighted, off to Chelsea next week hopefully we can keep the results going.

Hope Carrick is ok, need him for the run in.

It's brilliant that we now have plenty of players capable of getting a goal and we aren't over relying on any one particular player to bail us out. I never thought I would witness goals from midfield again.
