Fair enough. We really needed a win. But start giving discounts or start paying fans to watch that shower of sht. Damn it was mind numbing. I might start watching footy in the shed in sub zero temperatures, while watching porn and eating Carolina reapers just to remind me Im still alive

Leno made 0 saves.
1 shot on target for the goal.
0 corners won….repeat 0 corners won.
xG from open play 0.03
Only 8 touches in the opposition box, all game.

I think our second non-goal sums us up.

Bruno was actually totally free to have a shot at goal. No one close to him. Yet the panic from Kobbie was there to see, the desperation if you will. He simply didn't see him.

That is our play in both boxes. Whether that is lack of confidence, pressure, tactics or simple panic I don't know.

After that Skelley red card yesterday I'm bamboozled that Martinez wasn't given the immediate red. Holy hell, talk about dangerous play. How did he get away with a double stamp (and a lunge at that)?

PGMOL said that the only reason he didn't get the red is because he didn't make contact. I'd be pissed if that was the other way round; and then for him to score the winner. Look, I can understand why Fulham fans would be majorly pissed.
Didn't he have a pretty identicall two-footer like 3 or 4 games ago aswell? Needs to be very careful with those.

I mean, we're the worst Man Utd side in history - I'll take any result I can. This system combined with these players is poison.

If Sunday evening was a game it would be this one. First corner of the match in 71st minute, our first shot on target on 78th minute and got really lucky with that deflection. Also Collyer saving our win with that clearance.

It was decent performance in terms of possession and dealing with them defensively (though Fulham were poor obviously). But attacking wise we offered basically nothing until the goal. Won't complain as we're desperate for points but not a performance that'll make anyone realise we're improving or anything.

Martinez or Collyer MotM for those 2 big moments. 8 win in a row at Fulham (and without a loss there since December 2009), guess our record there is one of rare things that didn't yet turn bad since Fergie retired.

Attackers were poor again. Would love to have a few players up front who can beat defenders on the turn and carry the ball well.
Defence was good today. An important win.

He did, he doesn't need to be careful he needs to stop it, I can only think the ref didn't see it because he would have been justified in giving a straight red for that, the fact that he seemingly didn't make contact is irrelevant, the intent was clearly there

Really poor, but happy with 3 points.

It seems our defensive structure is alright most of the time, but we have no attack whatsoever.

Defensively you can see some improvement. Players are getting used to the system. Going forward still needs to improve massively

But if he can sort out the back and make us solid it’s gives a good foundation
yeah, it helps having 7 defensively positioned players on the pitch. Introductions of wing backs that can attack AND defend would be start…

Can we relegate the Licha haters along with the Bruno ones to the second division newbie posters. Fook off.

On another level, my god is Hojland rubbish.

Amazing away support. Fantastic to here them in the Telly after that goal.

That was a great clearance by Collyer late on, saved a certain goal.

United were lucky to get the points. Yet Fulham did nothing for 96 minutes!! Which one is it to be?
Can be both though, right? United didn’t create anything and scored from a lucky, deflected hopeful shot.
Fulham didn’t create anything of real note either.

The treble is back on, seriously though that was hard to sit through but we’ve performed far better and got nothing and now have a couple of games up next that we SHOULD win both of.

It's not pretty but if we get this result every week we win the league.

We play Palace, Spurs, Everton & Ipswich in our next four league games. All four are below us in the table.

Now we know this lot won’t win them all but there is real opportunity to pick up significant points. Maybe even creep into the top half.

You’re not here long and every single post of yours, bar none, is negative. Do you think you could maybe mix things up a bit? Perhaps a good time to start thinking about positive things to say would be in the immediate aftermath of an away victory? Just a thought.

Great defensive performance. Poor in attack yet again, sadly we have dreadful CFs.

MOTM Licha for me, for the goal alone. No other standout player.

Btw, was Amorim crying at the end? Seemed like he was wiping tears?
He realised he didn't have to be miserable on his birthday

Hojlund was shocking in the first half. Absolutely bereft of confidence. The ball gets to him and it's just lost instantly. Gave away their two best chances too.

Similar story with Garnacho. Kept overplaying it and losing the ball.

They have just not been good enough for the level we want to be at, and we should take -anything- Napoli offer, we can surely do better
Garnacho holds on to the ball for far too long. A number of times players were showing for short one twos and he just wouldn’t release it and ended up going all the way back to the CBs.

I thought it was one of the greatest displays of attacking football I've ever seen. I also am pretty sure I saw a spangly pterodactyl flying over my house. I wonder if these drugs really work. Fuggit. I don't care. A win is a win, and at the moment I'll take it. By the by, is Anthony Taylor the worst referee in the PL?

Awful game

We desperately need a striker and two attacking wingbacks for this system.

Anyone can see we need a proper striker badly, and for quite a while no
Ibrahimovic, Ronaldo, Weghorst and then Hojlund and Zirkzee. They are either past their prime and can't run anymore, or simply raw and unproven.

Watching Hojlund and Zirkzee play is like we are playing with 10 men. They are hardly in the equation most of the time.

Absolutely abysmal. Appallingly atrocious. feckin feeble and piss poor.

Everyone saying we need a striker, which I agree with, but GK is by far our biggest issue IMO. His being so shit and cowardly allows teams to play how they want against us.

A check on Fulham's recent scoreline against other top teams showed the following
Fulham vs Arsenal 1-1
Liverpool vs Fulham 2-2
Chelsea vs Fulham 1-2

I've decided not to say anymore negative things about this game. Feels really good to win away.

We won, have a few hours off.
