Two separate issues surely? Can enjoy the win and still want LVG gone?
Yes. Just like I can enjoy the win and still moan about my shitty day but chose not to, especially when most just want to savour the victory. Find the right time and place.

Fans saying LVG embarrassing the club in the post match interview are the real disgrace. We have just won the FA semi with many big decisions against us. And many fans were complaining he doesn't show passion.

People praise Mourinho and Fergie when they spoke out against the refs but LVG is disgraceful.

If you can't enjoy this win, then get the feck out. Enough negativity you miserable cnuts.

100% agree.

Not sure if it mattered or not, but they only started playing after the penalty.
They seemed to have their tails up before that, but we'll never know how much difference it made now anyway.

You've got to be confident that you'll win it now?

What's wrong mate?!??
It was bad, some issues at work, but don't worry about it, the victory cheered me right up. Absolutely buzzing now. Thanks for the concern mate.

But really, less negativity please, especially on a day like this. We are through to the fecking FA cup final, the moaning about LVG can be held off for a while.

Given out struggle this season with the small teams, I wouldn't call the Cup ours yet at all.

Fellaini. Take a bow. A goal. That tackle. Whatever happens, if we win the cup from here, justified signing.

Amazing match! Martial man of the match, closely followed by Fellaini. Was a little disappoitned with Martial just walking around and seeming to take most of the 2nd half off, but well rewarded with that finish at the end.

Didn't agree with the penalty call on Mensah, but understood why it was given. De Gea. Amazing.

So I guess LVG will only play the one holding midfielder when his back in against the wall. He's such a joke. The only good decisions he's made all season are one's that he's been forced into via injury or circumstance. Can't wait for him to be gone.

And feck off Real too.

If LVG stays, I believe he will get rid of DDG.
Madrid will definitely want DDG...no doubt about it.
Only if the manager is prepared to fight for him (which LVG is not), will DDG stay.

Just got out after watching the game with my mum. Great win, even if that knob of a manager did everything for us to lose.

First half was an absolute joy to watch after Rooney saved us from going behind at the off. Rooney did excellent work in spreading the ball from up high and Martial, Rashford, and Lingard look beautiful in how they run plays together. We were unlucky and should have had at least 2 or 3 with the chances we created. Hopefully next season our finishing greatly improves, we've been unbelievably wasteful in games.

Second half, everything came apart and LVG added to the cobwebs growing between his arse and the bench. Everton, who I expected to hit us hard from the beginning, finally began doing so and we had absolutely nothing to stop their advance with Carrick and Fellaini as the holders. The game was crying out for either Herrera to make use of the openings Everton were leaving us or Schneiderlin to add a mobile body for breaking up their attacks. I was positively fuming as the minutes ticked off and we rode our luck again and again. Everton could easily have gone 2 or 3 up on us during the stretch. Ironically, Everton only found the net when Smalling had to make a desperate redirect because Rojo (who was absolutely awful) was out of position and made no attempt to stop the cross.

I think major credit should be given to Fellaini, though I know plenty on this board won't give him any. I think he played out of his skin today, actually helping to dictate play up the middle when we really had no one else besides an advanced Rooney and a slow Carrick. He made several key clearances and I think it was by far his best game with us. Smalling and Blind were generally very good and Fosu-Mensah I thought was superb before the penalty, which I feel was borderline.

I also want to add that I don't think Rojo should play another game for us if Darmian or even Young is available. I understand that he has more pace than Darmian but he left our wing open for pretty much the entire game and produced absolutely nothing with the ball. I thought when he first got here that he was a player who can improve but I'm led to think he doesn't give a toss - his positioning is awful, he's lazy on runbacks, and is generally a clown. I hope he's gotten rid of when the season is over.

But let's stay positive for today - what a signing Martial has turned out to be! Really looking forward to next month - I would rather face Palace than Watford, but we really should win this either way with the quality we have.

LvG doesn't fight for anyone. He will let DDG know his importance and then let DDG and Ed take the decisions.

GifLord doesn't make errors, when it comes to making/uploading GIFs. Remember that :p
Welp, that is true for the 5 years I've been lurking around here, so I was surprised. Time to switch phones I reckon :D

I don't really agree. £30m to win the FA Cup is a bit cack. Tried his best today, bit of a mixed bag but should have had 2 goals so he was decisive which was nice to see. Better on defending set pieces than he's been lately too which was also nice to see.

The Martial goal at the end there was simply euphoric, it's been so long since we played like that and actually managed one of our extra time goals. Very entertaining game but it really could have gone either way, De Gea is incredible. Fellaini had a very good game and showed his critics why he can be an important player to have here. Rooney looked like he will adapt to the midfield role no problem at all now he's not the main man up front any more. Rashford and Martial are just excellent, hope they stay with us for a very long time. Happy for van Gaal but am a little concerned an FA Cup win will keep him here another season and then we will end up with Giggs taking over before he's ready.

What a fecking match that was! This semi-final is genuinely the biggest match we've played since Fergie retired and we smashed it! To be in the FA cup final alone is brilliant, but that last minute winner (by who else but Martial) was purely euphoric. If we can go on and win the FA cup (which we hopefully can) then it will definitely put this season into a very different light, for me at least. We've had a lot of issues since Ferguson retired but I think to actually go on and win a cup would really give everyone that boost and more importantly the belief that we're not going away any time soon.
Performance: I don't even know how to rate that performance, because in all honesty we weren't even that good! In the first half we were much the better side and towards the end we picked up. The second half overall was somewhat disjointed though. We couldn't keep the ball and we, along with Everton just spurned so, so many opportunities. Although to come back after falling back level and up our game to finish off Everton so late in is a testament to every single player on the field today.
Players who I thought excelled: Well, this could be a long one as the bulk of the side were all fantastic today. De Gea is just a delight to watch. He is just incredible and we're truly blessed to have him. Then of course Martial would just magnificent again, his raw ability is exhilarating and that run and finish was as cool as you like! You can just tell that with a lot of hard work Martial is undoubtedly destined for the top.
Despite De Gea and Martial were clearly the stand out performers, that's not to say they were alone. Rooney I thought also played an excellent match in midfield. He was composed, hungry, calm and that block against Lukaku is exactly the kind of thing you want to see from your captain, he looked like he'd played central midfield all his life today.
I was also really impressed with Fellaini, he's obviously not the best footballer in the world. But, he's got a lot of fight and he always seems to up a gear in the big matches.
Valencia looked great when he came on as well, he certainly seemed to shore up the defence when he came on.
Players who I thought weren't so good: After a match like today it's hard to really slate anyone to be honest, they all deserved to win and they all looked up for it. Smalling was poor for the goal but him and Blind were excellent again today so I don't think anyone can be overly harsh on him.
I thought Carrick was a bit off, but to be honest I think he has been for a while now. Although that's not to say he was bad, just not great.
Van Gaal lives on: If Van Gaal want's to be managing Manchester United next season then this is a cup that he simply had to win. He's been terribly unlucky with injuries, but in all honesty we've been shocking since October. But they're all back now (other than Schweinsteiger) so the spotlight is well and truly on him to at least end the season on a high. He has no excuses left now, so lets hope he can push on and make something of this nightmare season.

Heading home now. First time at Wembley and Tony Martial what a fecking way to cap it off. Still buzzing from that finish.

Still buzzing from that game, what a fecking end to the game. It's been a long time since we had one like that. I think we deserved on balance, but I was very nervous in that second half. We were under serious pressure for a long time, it was not cool at all.. I was convinced we'd be made pay for those chances that we missed earlier on. Thankfully, we got through.

Great game for Martial. Fully deserved the goal. In fact all the forward players were good, Lingard and Rashford were impressive too. I'd agree with the people who say that Fellaini had his best game for us too. Once again a fantastic game for De Gea, and that penalty save was justice but I thought the penalty was very harsh. Of course we should has penalty of our own too...

He got a knock and seemed to pull a muscle

He got a knock mate , which coincided with them getting back into the match as he wasn't able to track back the full back's run. I thought he was going to be taken off so credit to him for sticking it out for a few minutes and coming good st the end
