A decent result.
The United players looked fairly happy at the end there. You can really see the progress ETH is making.
On an another note; Antony and Casemiro look like street fighters. I wouldn’t want to cross them.
Antony looks like a really bad boy.

Nope, they’re shit. That’s three really shit performances in a row now. Especially when they rested so many mid week and still looked like they were running through mud

Tbf I haven’t been following them so will defer to your knowledge. To me, today, they looked more competitive than spurs and arsenal after they adjusted their formation.

United's standard performance has risen the last few games...the bar has been raised for sure.

Still a work in progress but the consistency is starting to show.

Martinez too - finally got that street fighter attitude running from from to back.

Deserved draw. We desperately need a striker but the improvement in this team is brilliant and I'm delighted with Ten Hag's impact so far.

Can't say we deserved to win, but definitely didn't deserve to lose. It would have been devastating. Goes down as yet another draw between them and us. But 1 point at the Bridge is good enough.

Take the draw but all in all a disappointing result given how dominant we were against a fairly average Chelsea side who were there for the taking. Three winnable games coming up hopefully we go into the break on the back of winning them. Definitely need to add to our squad in January, if we get that business done right we really should be in a good position for top 4.

I don't understand how McTominay can come into a game mentally and physically fresh, and still commit a mistake like that.

That being said, I thought we were excellent at times in the first half, other than our finishing. Rashford and Antony should've put us at least a goal ahead.

Also, Sancho is hopelessly out of form and confidence. Won't be surprised to see him dropped. I reckon he made at least 3 unforced errors with his passing.

If Martial is actually seen again any time soon, you'd imagine it's a fairly obvious Rashy left wing, Martial up top, Sancho on bench job.

We are getting better and with another 2-3 players will be challenging next season. Have the lions share of possession, more shots on and off target at the Bridge. When did that happen before 11v11?
I keep saying this. A clinical striker is a must in Jan.

We need a CF but our final ball has to improve also. Sancho has been the biggest disappointment for me, to the point where I forget we even signed him most weeks.

referee giving that penalty was fecking atrocious.

I'd expect us to get one on our corners but the lot of them are fecking usless and inconsistent.

You can get away with a lot, but you can't bearhug someone like that. It was utter dimwittery.

played well in the 1st but crucially didn’t score. A result that does little other than keep us in the top 4 race.. brilliant.

We always say that. Not to forget how bad we were last season but I fear another 3 signings and another 2 or 3 holes will appear. Top four at best team for the next 3-4 years.

Highlights on sky for chelsea is basically two corners, one which lead to the penalty. A chelsea win would have been most unfair. We should have had certainly one, if not two in the first half.

The first 35 minutes was brilliant.

I do think ETH might come for Brobbey this summer as that guy is clinical as feck. Keep it up and have faith in ETH, he's the one.
Don;t worry I have all the faith in ETH. Impressed by him.

Spurs and Chelsea in a few days, we get 4pts, and performances that showed a progression in form and an identity of how ETH wants. Dominated Spurs and if we had a guy who can hit the back of the net Chelsea game would have been over after 35 mins. I'm happy we got out of there with a draw. A striker in January please of quality and this team can go places. Casimero Motm imo.

Haha get stuffed Chelsea with your stupid stadium.

Hope Varanes ok.

Get in Casemiro.

They are fourth and better than the team who are third who we beat midweek and also the team who are top who we beat a couple of weeks ago. They’re not that shit.
They are not better than Spurs. They are shite, have been outplayed in most of their games under Potter

People are being too harsh on McTominay. Seen hundreds of similar challenges go unpunished. He was also pushed first. Great fighting spirit to get the equaliser.

We were the better team and we didn't lose, but that came very close to being a disaster. There's not a single reliable goalscorer at this club, and that's something that has to be addressed as soon as possible, preferably in January if anyone's available. The performance was good overall, but it's so costly to fall short against the main competition. If we'd lost that, it would have been such a huge blow to our chances of top 4.

One thing to bear in mind: with Liverpool having a nightmare (apart from the victory over Man City strangely) there is a top-4 slot available that many of us would not have expected, before the season started.

Obviously delighted to salvage a draw. However, very annoyed to see Rashford and Antony wasting big chances first half. Not sure what McTominay was up to in putting his arms around Broja's waist. Brain-dead.

I wouldn't dismiss us actually challenging, but for that to happen, Martial would have to be really fit. I honestly believe we are much better than simply a top 4 side, but we aren't Man City either. Not getting into the UCL this season was a real miss imo. I don't think many sides in Europe will be able to beat us by February. I think we have quality in the squad and have a strong structure, but we lack depth and are lacking firepower up front. We haven't had the easiest run to start the season, but we will now and taking advantage of our home games will be key in our resurgence.

They’re clearly not shite. Or even close to shite. Look at their recent results ffs.

They also completely outplayed Spurs the one and only time the two teams played each other this season.
Recent results… did you watch any of the games?

They are obviously not shite, but they really are not that good, functional at best right now.

Certainly not a Potter team right now.

@Cassidy Just looked at Chelsea’s last 5 league games. They’re averaging well over 60% possession. Where on earth are you getting the idea they’ve been “outplayed”?
By watching football. Dominating possession doesn’t mean you were not outplayed if you didn’t know.
