How has Declan Rice got man of the match? Other than the goal, i thought he was quiet
He theoretically saved the would-be winning goal. I mean Hojlund would’ve definitely shanked it so it’s irrelevant anyway, but it was a great play by Rice.

I'll reserve judgement till I see us against lesser teams. This team has played well against just about every big team since Amorim came in, but has then proceeded to drop stinkers against other teams
Yep, say what you want about United but set us up on the counter and we’ll give anyone a game. It won’t be pretty or one for the purists but we have a good team to shut teams out.

Anyone feels we are slowly beginning but surely turning into a team which Amorim is trying to build here? The players are definitely buying into his ideas it seem
Absolutely. Even the players that don't 'fit' the roles are gradually doing more to play the way Amorim wants. Garnacho with the crossing and running back, Maz being braver driving forward in attack, Yoro/Heaven/De Ligt trying to carry the ball into midfield etc. etc. If we didn't have Mr 1-blunder-a-game in goal and a proper CF, we'd have won at least 4-5 more of our games since Amorim came in.

Gutted we didn't get the win we deserved. Think I despise Arteta and his whining, diving, cheerleading lot even more than the current Pool or City bunch.

Hojlund is a lost cause. Should not see a single minute ahead of Obi for the remaining PL games.

Didn’t I hear in commentary that we haven’t beaten any team in the top 9 at home this season. Not really doing well against them although I get your point.

Redknapp making so good points about the set up on our free kick.

Who ever is working our set pieces nowadays is doing a great job (attacking at least, but even defensively we are improving).

Excellent performance, especially 2nd half, even more impressive given our injury and tactics adaptation problems.

1. Maz and Dalot were much more aggressive than usually, positioning themselves very high. Especially Mazraoui - him and Garna were torturing Calafiori. Properly working wings are crucial for this formation. Long may this continue.very happy with that.
2. Zirkzee is progressing. Slowly, but there’s a progress. Rasmus is running out of time, think will be sold/loaned. Finding a good striker is a headache these days. Even slightly better strikers cost insane money. I think we should look into Osimhen very seriously.
3.Bruno - Magnifico!
4. Heaven - really excited with him. Hope Yoro is ok. Progressing very well. CBs were all very good today, especially De Ligt.

Im confident that the whole “how many yards for that free kick” sh*te would not be discussed if any other team scored that goal. Also , it will be quoted for the next 12 months anytime United get mugged by officials
Yeah they’re discussing it now on Skysports again. But the 10 yards probably lengthens or shortens every game.

Why are they measuring the yards only on our game? I don’t remember anyone measuring the freeekicks in any other PL games?

If de Bruyne scored Bruno’s free kick everyone would be too busy beating themselves off about how good he is to measure the wall.

First half poor but Arsenal didnt create anything and we defended well. Very good second half and should have won it. I do think we are improving, it only 3 defeats in 14 so far this year, so we seem to be becoming harder to beat.

Pretty dull first half but the game picked up a bit in the second. On the balance of chances we should have won. One thing I'm quite happy about in recent weeks is we are becoming defensively strong. We are still prone to losing goals due to individual errors but we are rarely getting thrashed like we were under Ten Hag.

That said we need a new striker soon as our finishing is still woeful.

Sky doing their best to rile up Arteta about the free , at least he batted it away and f**ked off. Deserved

Just watched Arteta post game interview, he was shitty and walked off at the end. A real dick head of a man.

He was being baited with bullshit questioning? If Sky had their way, we'd be replaying this game over like a yard for the free kick wall.... ridiculous thing to oddly try and bait headlines on really.

Declan Rice celebrating his equaliser on front of the Stretford End like he had just won the Champions League tells you everything about the Arsenal mentality and why they will win feck all.

Why's everyone hyping up Raya's performance? Did we watch the same game?

The players shot right at him and he did exactly what any reliable PL-standard keeper would've done.

Still waiting for Sky to show a graphic of the Arsenal freekick where the wall was over 10 yards away.

He's always the same regardless of what is asked if him. He starts to answer before the question has been asked. He he also can't admit that the other side had good chances, a real twat of a man.

"Luck" could define every great goalie performance is why.... the leg movement for Maz's shot isn't luck, it's instinct as is the last minute scramble. That's good goalkeeping. I kinda forgot the 2nd one, maybe that one was directly at him? Zirkzee's wasn't it? So um, sure.

Onana's instinct is to fumble the ball into Martinelli's feet after a good save.

I'm not putting any of it down to luck, I'm saying we made his job very easy for him with our shit finishing

Will give you that, but I just thought the questioning was purposefully trying to bait him and sure, that's his own fault for making it so easy with his history. The interviewer just been annoying in all the interviewers to be fair, fishing for it and he got it from Mikel

Before match, I would get 1:1 instantly. After match I am angry because we should win.
Insane how Arsenal missing some lethal striker to win PL.
Positives - Bruno, Heaven, de Ligt, Zirkzee movement in box
Negatives - Hojlund (he needs to go or give him loan)

Maz and Zirkzee's were as good as you could expect to be fair from the situations, the save on Maz was very impressive just from instincts alone, that goes in 90% of the time imo. Sometimes you got to put things on the goalie and well... the situation. Bruno's, yeah, maybe he could have done better.

Can anyone tell me why Maz didn't get a penalty after his shot? He got fouled with a really late tackle straight after the shot

We watch Onana every week though. You must understand the standards we're operating from

Slowly, slowly starting to see the smallest shoots of green in the last few matches. Amorims system on the ball is starting to show, especially in that second half and in the Soceidad game. Fair play, we should’ve won that today. Arsenal are shite.

Agreed , Sky’s questions are regularly dumb click bait nonsense. Don’t feel sorry for Arteta but glad he didn’t indulge their “but 11 yards” nonsense

Any 50/50 or harder decisions that Arteta will go ballistic about? I do not like spoilers, usually. But I need to know if I should listen to the matchday summary tomorrow on pod or if I should just have complete silence since the pundits can not say how totally shit United is again.

In terms of MOTM, I don't begrudge either Maz or Bruno getting it. Bruno was quite instrumental in setting us off on those counters.

On the poitive side we walked away with a draw. But... There's rumours about Arteta and his uncertain future in London. I don't know but today they were hopelessly bad. Absolutely League Two performance, we should have won this game so I'm not entirely happy. And a really promising performance from Heaven. Great job.

Very happy with that second half. Especially with the depleted squad and many players having played a ton of football lately with our bench so thin. 1st half.....no comment.

Gutted we did not win but liked the effort, obviously need that all the time.

When Dorgu is back play Mazraoui at RB. Today he was back to his form when he just joined United.

Great half from Heaven, awesome to see.

Keep it up Thursday!

Better second half, can't understand why he brought on Hojlund instead of Chido when he's ineligible on Thursday. Just found that decision very baffling.

Mazraoui did ok but more effective coming through the middle. Dalot was shite. Agree would have been better to bring on Obi. Heaven looks a prospect.
