Im so so tempted to pick some boosters up tomorrow. Ive been Toys R Us twice in the lastcouple of years and both times had to sneak a booster through the till without my then girlfriend seeing.

Where abouts in Teaco were they? Near the Magazines and toys and stuff or the till?

They're with all the toys and stuff like that. I always found toys are us are better value for boosters though because they do the standard ones without the fancy special cards and they have a much better selection.

Just went to tesco. They only had theme decks which have no boosters in and they had no boosters full stop. Genuinely gutted!

I had the Gold Star Vaporeon and Flareon from the Japanese players club promos. Sold them for about £350 combined years ago.

I had a contact who worked at a TCG printing factory in Germany. She used to exclusively sell me EX cards when they first came out off the press but was also a collector herself. Can't remember how I got them from her though.

Ive got a video on YouTube of me flicking through my folder of Ex and Gold Star cards about 10 years ago but it was on one of the first gen phone cameras and it's terrible quality. I'll post it soon anyway, the two cards are in the folder!

He said he has tons more boxes and will list tomorrow. He has 442 feedback 100% so it's legit. Going to drop me a message soon as they list.

If he is taking £58 a box there's got to be a way for me to cash in here. Worried if I got a few boxes I'd just sit and open the entire lot in one sitting like a pokemon junkie.

I was under the impression that the new packs couldn't be weighed or something. Don't know where I got that info come from, but it's rife in the older gen sets isn't it. Wouldn't dare buy single packs now though for that reason.
 
Wasn't me, I don't go into the new stuff at all except some Japanese 20th anniversary decks a few months back.

Got one of the tins with an Ex promo and 4 boosters.

Yveltar EX Promo
1 x Roaring Skies
1 x Break Through
2 x Fates Collide


Got a Marowak Break, a Full Art trainer card and a nice Tyranitar holo.

I think selling the promo, the Marowak and the full art I could actually cover the £13 outlay for the tin, albeit with a bit of messing about. Will post a picture later.

Waiting on that guy to list boxes and I'm going to buy some. As for the card build quality...definitely don't make them like they used to!

Nice. I stopped way before those sets originally, so it's been good for me to discover them now, particularly the Gold Stars and particularly in Japanese.

Yeah the generations packs cannot be weighed, one would assume they are keeping that trend up for new sets too.

I keep wanting to buy boxes but I can never bring myself to drop the cash in one go even though I know it is cheaper in the long run!
