I actually already have the Dragonite but it's nice to have a minty fresh one! I was especially pleased to get Jolteon, Pinsir and Moltres. Quite lucky to only get two duplicates I think. Annoyed because the A4 plastic sheets I ordered to store them hasn't arrived yet, nor my extra sleeves. Had to keep all the cards still in the packs until then.

Also I ended up buying these Japenese cards because they look so cool!

It's a good job I've no interest in any cards after the 'Neo' ones or this could get really out of hand!
 
Don't show me anymore Japanese ones FFS! I have to move house this month that's expensive enough.
 
I won't reveal the piece de resistance that I've bought just yet then - may take a few weeks to arrive. ;)
 
I'm not sure yet, usually I get the one my brother doesn't get, Groudon is pretty hench though.
 
I was thinking about this the other day, why for some reason I preferred and bought one version over another in quite a strong way and if there was a common favourite among everyone, for example I chose Blue over Red, Silver over Gold, Sapphire over Ruby, Diamond over Pearl and SoulSilver over HeartGold again. I'd add that I'll also be choosing Sapphire again.

Honestly that's the exact same choices as me, except this time I'm unsure about Sapphire. But I just love blue more than red and I'm that shallow when it comes to picking versions.
 
So, do either of you have actual card collections in terms of sets? Let's lay our cards on the table. (:cool:) I seem to want another set by the hour, need to calm down.
 
Mine's all made up of booster packs at the moment, so lots of random cards but not enough energy cards and stuff to make a proper deck up to play with. I'm much more into collecting cool cards though.

I'll stick some pictures up tomorrow, because there should also be more booster packs arriving in the post in the morning to open :D

Next month when I have more money, I might order some Japanese ones though, danger danger.

The ones arriving tomorrow are the Legendary Treasures boosters, only 6 boosters but I'd love any of the full art cards from the Radiant Collection because they look so sick.

Edit: Shit seems you have to trade them, you get different patterns depending where you live.

Actually I'm about to go into town to get some sleeves, they're currently just in a big pile and it scares me.

You get to organise them and shit now though, I love doing that kinda thing.

Me too! Something about organising and tidying things is very relaxing for me. A few days ago all I had was a pile of about 30 shiny's and another pile about 30cm long of assorted cards.

Got to organise them into set, think I ended up with about 11 different sets. Then organising each set by removing duplicates and putting the best condition of the duplicates into the proper collection, then putting the finished sets into number order, then putting them into sleeves! Now I'm just waiting for stuff to arrive and then I'm going to finish a few of the sets and call it a day.

Nice one, I'll look to pick some of those up. I grabbed 150 from town which was only a couple of quid but thats a good deal for 300!

Not sure how to organise them yet, I think in card number order in each set is the way. Maybe separate holos though.

The Radiant Collection cards from the Black and White series look so nice, even the non holos have a slight holo all over pattern on the card, and the reverse holos are awesome. Currently putting about 150 cards into sleeves right now before organising, it's relaxing.
 
I've also got these on order as I've gone further into Mr Collector mode so I may not even use the sleeves I'm not sure how I'm going to do it. Could even put sleeves on the cards and then put them into the folder or I could just use the sleeves for cards that aren't in the folder.

I've always kept holo's separate but in the context of collecting I think I'm going to put them by set and number. Still got to decide what sets I'm going to complete.
 
Yeah it's hard, I want to finish this Radiant Collection subset of the Black and White, but getting the packs now is harder and as it's a subset you only get 2 cards per booster pack. Although it's only 25 cards so not too bad and I've got a fair few already now.

Also depending on how the Phantom Powers cards that will be released soon look I might try complete that, Mega Gengaaaaar.
 
Getting deals together for a 1st Edition Fossil set, 1st Edition Jungle set and an amazing looking Japanese Neo-Genesis set that is surprisingly cheap. :drool: Still want to get a Japanese base set, and some 1st edition neo sets, and a mint condition base set. Going to be a fair few deliveries this week, going to be like a kid at Christmas! :drool:
 
Nice! The Fossil set is awesome, don't remember much of the Jungle lot though, gonna check it out now. You're gonna have such a good week :drool:

I got 6 more boosters of the Legendary Treasures and a couple of Japanese boosters, one Freeze Volt and one Cold Flare. Only get 5 cards in a pack there but thought I'd check them out as they were pretty cheap.

I want to complete the Radiant Collection for sure, only 25 cards, but they're in the Legendary Treasures set and you get 2 RC per booster. The Ultra Rare full arts are only about 2 in a booster set of 36 boosters too, looks like I might be buying a couple of singles!
 
Not a single package yet, WTF! Got about 8 things arriving, surely one will show today. :(

I think the Neo Genesis & Revelation sets have the best artwork, how do the newer sets compare? Pick of the bunch for you? (after neo's)

Not sure off the top of my head. Have a free night tonight so going to do some organising and I'll get up some of my favourites.
 
Found my old cards in the attic today. No idea if they're worth anything, don't even know what set they're from (how do you tell, I think they're from the times of the Jungle set etc) and they're in pretty decent condition, except for the shinies which are fecked. Found some promo Ancient Mew card I got from the first movie at the cinema and some of the worst fakes I've ever come across :lol:

Also, some of them are Dark cards - eg. Dark Rapidash - what's that? Some of them also have an R or a flower thing underneath the right bottom corner of the artwork. Maybe they're worth something.
