Gaming Pokémon Strumfest

I just acquired a copy of sapphire totally legit like for my iPad. Think I'm gonna do that as it's the generation I've played the least.
Have you played Emerald?

I've only come across two. One was a shiny Clauncher I chain fished for and the other was a shiny Druddigon I bread with the Mesuda method.
I remember both!

Overpowered much

I want to sort a way of playing this hacked black and white, catching every pokemon sounds awesome.

I'm playing the hacked Black 2 now. I've not even got out of the first patch of grass and I've caught 8 pokemon.

Fancy pm'ing me what disgusting emulator you used so I can report it to Nintendo?

Edit: Just seen earthquakes reply. Never mind!

I'm been playing through Omega Fire Red since someone mentioned it in here, makes the original games seem a piece of piss. Also makes you realise that there are no good water attacks for a big chunk of the game until you can get your hands on surf.

I haven't played that one but started a bit of fire red yesterday and even that really sucks at first if you pick Charmander.

Nothing good against rock to start with, and the pidgeys, Pickachu, weedle and caterpie are all weak to Brock, it's silly

I always head to that bit of grass before you get to get to victory road and pick up a Nidoran and Mankey to help with the first gym.

Omega Red is a bit different in that the choices at the beginning are smoochum, elekid and magby and you are handed all the starters at various points.

Doesn't Butterfree learn confusion at like lvl 12 or something? And in Fire Red I'm pretty sure a little bit of grinding gets Charmander/Charmeleon Metal Claw quite early on and you can breeze through then.

Isn't DeSmuMe the name of the emulator itself @Earthquake?

I need this hacked version with all 649 in my life.

Didn't realise about that in FireRed, first time I've played it only did red before.

Water Pulse from Misty, great water move until you get Surf.

Nidoran! What a boss.

Something around that, it's very early. Add Compound Eyes/Sleep Power, and Buterfree is an early game lord.

Yes, that's the emulator.

I played this recently and had a Charmander. Metal Claw was super effective against Geodude and Onix.

Can you please upload that hacked and patched Rom as you promised yesterday?

I've uploaded the ROM to dropbox. If anyone wants it drop me a PM

What if you cant catch the first pokemon you encounter?

Unlucky I guess!

Depends how you want to play it I guess, if you're going hardcore then that's that, but keep going till you get one I guess.

When I play Nuzlockes I use the universal randomizer to make everything that little bit more mental.

I also create a graveyard box in the PC rather than release them, so I remember my fallen comrades.

I think there's also the rule that you have to nickname all of your pokemon in an attempt to make you feel more attached to them.

What if you call them all Dave?

Oh my god it seems to be working on my iPad. eeeeeeeek.

New life goal, 649 pokemon.

It's begun, White 2. Just boxed my Tepig after catching a level 4 Patrat called Clive. Let's see how this goes.

He almost got 2HKO by a fecking level 3 Patrat. Needed a potion to save the little bastard.
