Pogba's says his future is at United and has many years on contract

In that clip, he never even says once "who knowswhat will happen in the future". If this whole drama is based on this then you gotta fecking laugh :lol::lol:
He said his future is at Man Utd and he has several years on his contract.

I repeat if the whole thing is based on this then this thread is really "special", it shows many of our fans have unhealthy hatred for Pogba

@Paul the Wolf It's fecking ridiculous isn't it ?

So that's 3 people who speaks French confirmed the translation was wrong and journalists added bits and pieces. Well, like you said hate is strong, so who cares about the truth.

Funny how ManUtd player is hated so much by ManUtd fans, and few of these people worship Jose who flirted with PSG just a year ago.

edit: Can modmins edit the title? @KM @Damien @Varun @Akshay

If false quotes are being attributed to him all over the press the club needs to respond aggressively.
The club and himself should do it yeah but I'm not sure they would even bother with it. Honestly the media need to be sued on a regular for those cnuts to be actually be doing their jobs in a professional manner and not misleading masses

Time for the Board to step in, regardless of anything he may or may not have said. "You have a contract with us, you're here and here you stay until we decide otherwise. Get on with it".

It's unhealthy because it makes you blind. You can dislike a person, a player, a manager but as long as you don't lose your common sense and you're not unfair then it is ok IMHO.
This is something too funny not to laugh at though

Why would the board step in if there are no issues on that front ? Wouldn't that create a problem in itself ?

I bet Pogba would dance and dabbing in joy knowing all sort of publication he gets. More news, more values and more money for him. I doubt he cares very much about what people thinks.

Remember reading Pogba just had a decent, solid world cup and not a great world cup. Then I remember how good he was in knock rounds winning most duels than any player.

So how to French people rate his world cup performance? Just decent, solid?

It's simple, he basically says "his immediate futur is at United and he still has many years on his contract". The usual PR answer to journalists
Does he use the word immediate? Is that not in itself muddying the waters? Why not just say my future is at Man United, given that he has been the subject of a lot of media attention for cryptic comments already.

Whatever you think of Pogba the player, you have to admit that he is a genius at playing the media.

Today I learned - There's a lot of United fans on here who strongly dislike Pogba.

Getting loads of abuse from so called United fans on his Insta, so embrassing.
Getting a lot of abuse here, too.

Hoping he has many more years here and makes these people eat their words. Like Nani did.

I'm the one who used it but that is clearly what he means. At the moment he's at United and he still has many years on his contract. Pogba is a pro when dealing when the media, he will never do what Griezmann tried to do for instance

Sorry but this is bollocks.

There’s a large constituency of people who are highly sceptical of Jose, but back him 100% in his dealings with Pogba.

Odd that you didn't notice the obvious sarcasm and missed the point of the post.

Mods: Can we have a title change reflecting what french speaking posters have been correcting?

edit: thanks!

Should be looking for an upgrade if his performances don't improve, regardless of his disrespect to the club.

More than decent, more than solid I'd say. A very good world cup with him increasing his performance levels with each passing match. I must also have read those posts you mentioned, it baffled me to say the least

If the reported quotes have been edited by the majority of the British based media then again the phrase 'fake news' from the orange buffoon just gets more justification, which is just depressing and a sad state of the affairs.

I dont think laughing at United fans though is the way about this.
I dont think there are a majority of fans here who 'hate' Pogba. We're just all disappointed that he hasn't given us any reason to fully get behind him due to his, frankly, inconsistent performances on the pitch.
Goading United fans isn't a wise response.

No, that part isn't directly translatable in english but it's a very neutral expression, so "today" is probably more accurate.

Edit: He said:"Mon future pour l'instant il est à Manchester, Mon contrat il est encore..., j'ai encore plein d'année de contrat donc euhh...". And then it cuts.

The unedited translation is: "At the moment/today my future is at Manchester, my contract is still..., I have many years of contract so..."

"“One thing I can assure you: I will always give 100 percent"

Any time you are ready Paul.

The Orange buffoon isn't completely wrong about the media sadly and I think Sports media are the worst of the lot. Seems like it's the area with the lowest credentials

Ok, so this story is made up by click hungry journalists.

I still hope PP leaves ASAP. His performances on the field of play for our club have not been good enough, nothing to do with hatred or bias, just my opinion.

There appears to be a possibility that the club can recoup its investment or even make a profit on him. I don’t pretend to understand how this is possible but the club should take this opportunity.

You (not you @abdo99 lol) can criticize him by all means but so much bile being spouted on the basis of a wrongly translated video, by United fans is fecked up to me
It's a joke, really is a joke. Sometimes I think we have a bunch of chemically imbalanced 13 year olds on this site.

People hated him before but the WC made them quiet for a little while. Now they are showing their true colours.

Apart from Real, I can't think of many clubs whose fanbase are so quick to have a go at their own players like us.

They're still a cut above anyone.

They booed Ronaldo of all players.

Imagine if Barcelona booed Messi? No chance it'd ever happen.

Do you honestly think this whole story surrounding Pogba and Mourinho is simply an invention by the media and there's nothing whatsoever to it?

I don't know what to think because I don't pretend to be ITK regarding these things. I know for a fact that media try to sell the juiciest stories out there, this isn't the first nor last time someone will be misquoted/mistranscripted/mistranslated just to create views and clicks. It's pointless to imagine things no one can be sure of 100%

If he has even a slightest idea of what's the basic tone around the club currently and specially in the media, he should not say such things. I think he let the club down big time. No need for such things at all.

I'm sure there must have been some disagreement, however, I truly believe that the whole mess has been blown way out of proportion. Employees and employers have disagreements all the time, nothing new there, people get over their differences and move on. This whole saga has been propagated to an extent of a power struggle, and we the fans are frothing at the mouth at every bile written article that out there.

What did he say? Or should I ask what have you read?

Just had Martin Lipton on Talksport and he is using the dodgy translation as well. Now it is difficult to know what is the truth in anything the press put out there.
I heard that. Lipton made a claim in the summer that either Jose or Pog would definitely be gone by the new season, and as that hasn't materialized he's trying his best to resurrect this story & make himself look less of a know-nothing, tabloid-fabling, hack.

We bend over backwards to clap our failing manager. I wonder if we will do the same for the ‘dabbing’ Guy.

All a joke really. We expect him to play like Steven Gerrard because our teams crap. It doesn’t always work like that.

Gerrard played in worse sides than this, we just dont understand why it goes the other way when he ends up playing like a midfield Welbeck.

More or less, yep. That’s how most of the clickbait media and red tops operate. They build a narrative and try and find anything they can distort to support it. They aren’t journalists with an interest in providing a balanced summary of the truth.

Given last season it is no wonder Mourinho isn’t satisfied, Pobga isn’t satisifed. Both want to achieve more at United, but both also know that if for whatever reason it doesn’t end well at United, then they’re proven enough to find another top job elsewhere. It’s the same situation millions of people find themselves in in their employment.

Look at the Mina “transfer saga” when not one reputable source clearly linked United having an interest in signing him. A complete fatberg of a story.

Ohh how much I wish that we are like Real sometimes, we are nowhere near. Some of the shit that is being tolerated by United fans sometimes amazes me.

Yep. Most of the media are trying to destabilize United. Trouble is I do not know how we can combat it. Probably results and performances on the pitch will do it. A good result at Watford and the media will likely crawl back under their rocks.
