So he's been putting in world class performances for us. It's "unfortunate" how he's handled wanting to leave. He's worth £240m. He's a future Ballon d'Or winner. Yet he needs leaders and world class players to tell him to stop fecking around and put in the effort? All this while it's our fault for not providing the players he needs? You really have to be trolling.Probably the best course of action for everyone involved. Real Madrid obviously decided to insult us with 80m offer, so Juve's initial bid of 120m can easily be negiotated to 140m in my opinion - still a hundred million below his real value, but that's the best we'll get I'm afraid. Unfortunately, there's no way back for Paul at this point. He's taken rather aggressive stance and seems to force his way out of the club. The manner and timing are unfortunate, but it's an understandable decision. We've failed him, the project he was brought to never took off. Personally, I choose to forget this ugly ending (just hoping it's resolved soon) and remember some of those world class performances in Manchester United shirt.
I know we're all a bit agitated right now, but don't be surprised to see Paul win Ballon d'Or in couple of years. Return to Juve is perfect for him - familiar club where he's beloved by fans and staff, offensive manager, world class players all around him, and most importantly: leading, legendary personalities like CR7, Buffon, or Chiellini. These veterans won't allow anything else but 100% focus and effort, just like we've seen more focused and disciplined Paul while Zlatan was still here. Where are our veteran leaders now? Ashley Young? Yeah, exactly...
That’s not really true though. The numbers Pogba provides are better than Scholes did and his international career is already significantly better. Plus the deep-lying version of Scholes formed pretty late in his career. Technically, he can do pretty much everything Scholes did and then some, although he lacks proper mentality and intelligence to maximize his potential.
If he doesn't travel with the squad to Australia and Madrid don't stump up £150m he should be benched all season or be sent on loan to a Championship team until Madrid answer his SOS. Absolutely no chance those jokers are getting him on the cheap despite being done here.
I don't disagree about having a firm stance regarding this cnutish behavior. I'm disagreeing about this rebuild part.
Nothing's changed, we hold the cards and if they are desperate then they will have to pay up. Just because his agent talked to the press does not mean we have to scramble to offload him at a discount.
Guys, you do realise this is just public posturing? He’s gone. I can bet my account on it.

The only Ball Pogba will get is a ball in the googlies as he slowly walks back to defend. He has been an abject failure here and as someone else has pointed out,he will be booed off the field in Madrid or Barcelona, no loafing about there I'm afraid.

Good negotiation tactic there. Sadly his agent will continue to undermine our attempts to get the best price for him.
Will be glad when this oaf and his toxic agent are out of this club and he gains his rightful place as a minor footnote in our history somewhere far below Clayton Blackmore or Ralph Milne
I don't want Juve or Real to push us around.
I don't know the terms. But surely Pogba can be sued for non performance if he refuses to board the plane.
If he refuses to board the plane or join the team then his really got to be stupid as there will be more harm on his end marketing wise, sponsors etc. The club will definitely have to fine him or suspend him in some capacity. No way we should take this likely. Need to sort this out but agreed we shouldn’t be pushed around.
Well I look at it in a different way because I would imagine that when a player is brought into a club and commits to a lengthy contract on a monster wage the least a club can expect is that he commits 100% to the club going forward and be the best player he can be for the team. Why should he show respect to us when he was lied to and the club doesn't respect itself. Don't get me wrong he is a c**t but he doesn't want to waste time at a club with no ambition to challenge for titles. Look at what Juventus and Madrid are doing when they are already better than us. This is what players and fans want from their team. Not buying mediocre young players and hiring managers on the base of 10 games.
My question is given the attitude and obvious flaws in Pogba's attitude, why would Juve or Madrid want to risk 150 million on him.
What options do we have if we are trying to sell Pogba
1. 85m + Isco for Pogba
2. 90m + Douglas Costa for Pogba
3. 150m for Pogba
4. 50m + Pogba for Neymar
5. 40m + Isco + Kroos for Pogba

How Ole manages this situation will be very telling and shape up how he is perceived by the rest of the squad and media. He can’t afford to be a pushover in this situation. Riolo already dropped his name and said his aware Pogba wants out. No way a pissed of Pogba peforms for us the whole season without disruption.
Fine him if he doesn’t show up for work. Then sell him to highest bidder. I struggle to believe the management team and boars don’t have a contingency plan for a potential Pogba departure.
