Just near the end of it now, it's a solid 9/10 for from me, only a couple of very minor negatives.
Playing Dredge. Good fun.
Yeah that's a great little game, think they recently released a 2nd DLC too. May have to revisit.
Another terrible month of PS Plus. Plucky Squire should be really good but they’ve stopped adding major PS5 titles over the last few months.

decided to have a quick pop on and do mission 8, stealthy as feck for the first 3rd then one mistake and it all went tits up FFS.
My "quick pop on" ... Lasted 2 and a half hours

Just started playing AEW after it was on plus last month I think. It’s basically No Mercy from the N64. It’s a lot of fun.
Finished Astro. Great game overall. Wish the levels were a bit longer though, some were very short.

Some of the triangle levels in Astro Bot are bastards.

Yeah triangles were the hardest. Rest were fairly straightforward.

It isn't a groundbreaking game, graphics aren't special, storyline is typical, gameplay is fecking hilarious when in co-op though. Honestly, one of my favourite series of games because of @swooshboy , it's stupid fun. Simple, fun. What games should be.
My favourite part is hearing swoosh say "oh no" or "feck".
His nightmare is me saying "I've forgot the buttons again" as I launch a grenade somewhere. Amazing shit
Yeah i hear a lot of good things about them. Particularly in co op. Think i might have played one of hte earlier ones a million years ago

Wait until you get to the final master bastard level. There's 2 purple sniper paint spitting cnuts near the end of that level that are the bane of my existence.

Nope, nothing new or insightful, just content for content's sake. Turned it off pretty quickly though.
Finished Astrobot yesterday. Incredibly satisfying nailing that final challenge run and then I went on to polish off the 5/6 missing trophies I needed for the plat. As good as it was I reckon I'll trade it in at the weekend whilst it still has some resell value. Might look at this Gears of Warhammer thing.
There's still free DLC coming this year with additional themed bots and, more importantly, new speedrunning levels, so you might want to hold on to it a little longer if that's your thing.
Astrobot is a brilliant game, even though it's simple an easy.
DF did an interesting look at the PS5 Pro footage and the pros and cons of the system and some of their choices are bizarre.
For example in Ratchet and Clank the footage shown is the PS5 performance mode up-ressed, rather than the quality mode running at 60 FPS. This means there are other graphical cutbacks such as reduced crowd density and post processing effects than the PS5 version running in quality mode.
It also looks like most games are running at 1440p and then upscaled using PSSR. On the subject of PSSR it looks like it might be having some trouble smoothing out edges, giving a more jagged appearance than some other upscalers.
Lastly there were still a few games that were running at 30 FPS. So the CPU is still likely to hold back the console in certain games or RT modes.
Oh I did want the speed running stuff so thanks for the heads up. I'll hold on to it.
