The file on my USB key will not open with my lap top, it just looks like a blank file, is this normal?

You should be fine, parcelfarce as just a bunch of useless cnuts in general but they delivered my stuff without flaw...once...keep a sharp eye though, the cnuts try pull a fast one and skip some deliveries if they are behind by slipping a 'sorry we missed you card' in the door without ringing the bell.
I did mine on USB, and yep you've got the right file. Just make sure you put the file in folders named exactly as Sony instruct.
As for booting in safe mode, just hold the power button for 10 seconds (or something like that, check the instructions on Sony's site) and its all very easy. Very simple process. Just follow this.

Gamestop have a habit of not sending dispatch messages, they didn't send me one when I ordered GTA, although you'd expect it for something more expensive like a PS4.

Bloody hell, that was a long queue and I got there 90 minutes early! Anyway......
Couldn't get Killzone as they had already sold out by the time I got to the front of the queue, will have it on Monday.

Went up at 9pm got my ticket to pick up the console at 12. They had a couple of mega bundles extra, so I upgraded from killzone bundle to that.
They also said that because I was getting two extra games that I can have another for half price. So I got the 2k basketball game too.
I was so happy that I had paid all this off and somehow in the space of 5 mins I have now forked out an extra €100.

Depends if you care for basketball i suppose but the NBA2k games are always top top notch. Presentation is fantastic and gameplay is great too. Far better than any EA offering of any sport.
