Went to pre order it and just as I was about to confirm it all there was a message saying that it would not be delivered until after Christmas. So that led me to look at a whole load of comments to see what was going on. Apparently there is a glitch on their system, they cant set a dispatch date so it means that the delivery dates are showing up all wrong:lol:

They are adamant it will arrive before Christmas, so I went ahead and pre ordered it, if there is no movement on their end next week and I am able to get it elsewhere I can always cancel it on amazon if need be. Hopefully they will ship it soon with updated delivery dates.

Yep, the knack bundle indeed. I hope it ships with a delivery date before Christmas. I can hold out until then easily.
 
I would be if I was in your shoes. I am awaiting your first impressions with much anticipation. Can't wait to see what people make of it over the next few days.

Oi Flagg, Gamestop in my area are opening 9-10pm due to the amount od PS4s they have to shift out, worth giving your one a ring to see if you can get in that early!
 
Got mine pre-ordered from work but won't be able to pick it up until Sunday. Been off work all week with fractured ribs so think it may cause arguments for me to rack up tomorrow morning for the console when I should be working :lol:

Battlefield is still pretty broken for online play, If your likely to get both at some point I would go with Killzone for release and grab BF4 when they get their shit together.

Probably hang on a few weeks and go for BF4. Already got COD, but it isn't a brilliant next gen game but it's pretty consistent online and if you're not one of those 'I MUST HAVE A HIGHER THAN 1 K/D AND BE AMAZING' kind of person it'll always be a good laugh with your mates.

The problem is the staggered launch, first North America, sold 1m+, tomorrow EU and will sell 1m+, it's also Black Friday in NA so god knows there, then on the 13th there are another 10 European Countries, then Christmas in EU and NA, then they have Japan in Feb! They probably can't make them quick enough.
 
Cos I ordered a game from Tesco, I've got a PS4 game but no PS4 yet which will arrive tomorrow. Its just sitting there taunting me

For comparison: Last Thursday there were around 200 fans waiting at 11pm to get the first Xbox One consoles from the Saturn store at the Alexanderplatz...

Had a peep in the local ASDA about half an hour ago. 6 people queueing.
At 10pm they are giving raffle tickets out.
Also, just read Game and Argos have secured day one stock.
 
Turns out Gamestop have taken payment for an additional controller (£39.97) and not my console (£329.97). I become worried at 7pm the night before the day I was told it'd be delivered.
 
It looks like it might be back on again for me, power city in Fonthill, Dublin (for any Dubs in a similar position as myself) claim to have over 100 in total. Its up on their website (which keeps crashing by the way). Considerably more than others, going to make my way later tonight if it turns out to be legit.
 
And the numbers are accurate. Looks like I am going to be spending the early hours of the morning in a queue.
 
I don't understand why I'm getting itchy about the lack of payment going out or a dispatch notice. It was an impulse buy anyway! But I literally want to punch the walls until my hands are broken.

Getting this delivered tomorrow, got a friend who's high up at DPD who iv'e given my consignment number, so hopefully no screw up when delivering to my building (it happens a lot)

Then i'll probably spend most of the day debating whether to open it or sell it on ebay....

*edit* looking at current ebay prices, only looking at £50 profit....
 
Be interesting to see the numbers for this launch period, seems like there is crazy hype to get one.
 
Anyone doing the update on a USB stick? Doing mine now. Hope it will be easy to Install onto the console

If anyone feels like giving directions in simple terms please do. I read something about starting the console in safe mode which scares me
