The Blu-ray movie player isn't a patch on the one in the PS3, it's way slower booting the disc, you can tell it was chucked in at the last minute.
Playback quality is excellent though.
The air coming out of the back really isn't that hot, however it's for some reason warmer on the right hand side than the left. The power in socket is located there and the APU and the fan is also on the right, so it's probably the APU and the power supply unit creating more heat than the components on the left, BD drive and HDD.
Yup, it worked a treat.
I did have one major issue that had me panicking for the 1st hour,
For some reason my tv went nuts and decided it couldn't display the screen. Then not even my sky box was working. I was running around my sitting room cursing and stuff.
Finally found a fix on google.
The old plug everything out for 2 mins and start over worked as always.
The update went smoothly, then downloaded a few games n stuff
Tried out killzone, looks very good and resogun seems ok
I'm freezing my nuts off out here. However I am 8th in line and there are 91 consoles at this place. Just need to play the waiting game.

Nope no need for a piss yet, thank feck because I have no bottle. We just did another head count. 95 people and 91 consoles meaning some poor sods at the end of the queue will be out of luck.

So the PS4 does not support 4k resolution, is that something fixable with a patch or do you need a completely new hardware (i.e. a new generation) for it in the future?
