6....my local Tesco has fecking 6....and the cnuts don't open until 6am, now the next question is when is a good time for me to go down and queue up for one. Realistically you need to be in for the long haul on this one. Probably something stupid like 1am or something.

The one at dundrum is no longer 24 hour. It used to be but it is now 6am to midnight and the bint working there said they would not be staying open to sell the 6 off at midnight. What a cnut.

Amazon just emailed me about the dispatch of FIFA14 and a controller that will arrive sometime around 9th of December. Will be so frustrating to have those at home without a freaking console!
I've just come by mine and there were 10 people already in queue around the entertainment desk. Clearly waiting around rather than buying there and then too. So screw that, haven't got the patience to wait 9 hours.

9 hours is crazy. No way I want one that bad, Im willing to wait 4 hours tops. Now that is still insane but I would be willing to tolerate it. Thats why I am going to go down 4 hours before opening time, if I get lucky then I get lucky. If I don't then so be it.
That's fair enough. If you do it that way you can nip down and see if there's too many people waiting already and get off home if there is. No bother.

The guy I spoke to on the phone said people would probably start queuing up around 16:00. I would'v gone at midnight if the had like 50-100, but I'm not trying to be in the first 5.
Yeah I mean as much I would like to get it at the same time I am not expecting to get it so while I am excited about the console I am not excited as such about getting it tomorrow (if that makes any sense at all) and that way if I dont manage to get it tomorrow then meh, I will hopefully manage to grab one before Christmas.
Kicking myself a bit for not pre ordering but at the time I didnt think I would have the cash for it when the shipping date came. Turns out I do actually have the cash for it

On a side note has anyone here ordered from Gamestop? I've not had a dispatch notice but the payment has gone. I can only assume that they're struggling to keep up as their phones as jammed and emails are being replied to with auto replies answering FAQs.

Just had a lovely message from Yodel saying my PS4 is due to be delivered tomorrow, I was going to be a eager one and try to get a console tonight as my pre-order was still showing delivery by the 24th December! Having a spare unopened PS4 lying around before Xmas wouldn't have hurt, like ISSY said, they'll fetch a fortune pre-xmas.
Still... I have no games, hopefully my PS3 Battlefield 4 turns up tomorrow so I can do a digital upgrade.

Found a bundle on Amazon which delivers before Christmas. Tempted to go for it instead to be honest, I don't need a PS4 urgently and as the evening goes on there seems to be nowhere with any decent stock in Dublin at all. If there was somewhere with good stock I would go and queue up but it just does not seem to be the case at the moment.
The only reason I'd get a PS4 right now would be to say I have a PS4. I wouldn't even use it.
Very of all places, had £20 off and couldn't stump up the cash straight away on pre-order. Now it's paid for and on it's way... well hopefully!
I've heard a few bad things about Yodel, but every shipment we've delivered to home have arrived fine. Good job she's working from home tomorrow, I didn't arrange for it to be delivered to work!
I still haven't brought a game, PS4 is coming tomorrow with DPD. I'm kinda hoping it comes in the afternoon so I can nip out and grab a game or two.

So that led me to look at a whole load of comments to see what was going on. Apparently there is a glitch on their system, they cant set a dispatch date so it means that the delivery dates are showing up all wrong
They are adamant it will arrive before Christmas, so I went ahead and pre ordered it, if there is no movement on their end next week and I am able to get it elsewhere I can always cancel it on amazon if need be. Hopefully they will ship it soon with updated delivery dates.

Still not despatch note/tracking codes on mine. Don't know why I'm so cautious about it, 6 weeks ago I wasn't even remotely interested. Now I'm desperate for the thing to arrive.
I'll pick mine up at 9 AM tomorrow. Cannot wait.
