What do you mean about drive club and stripped features or whatever you said?
PS+ version has less cars and tracks, you have to pay a fee to upgrade it to the full blown game. You get the core game for free, think of the rest as DLC

Seems fair to me, something I probably wouldn't buy off the shelf, but maybe getting a good chunk of the game for free I may be swayed to get to DLC as you put it. I wish release day would hurry up ffs.
Weaste do we have any idea how much it might cost to buy the 'full' game? I'm glad that we'll at least get to play the game before deciding if/when to upgrade, racing games aren't really my forte so the free version might be perfect for me.

Knack, Fifa, Watch Dogs, Assassins Creed are musts for me, don't see point buying the last 3 for current systems to save only a tenner
Also want a FPS so will probably go with Killzone over battlefield and cod as its been made with the ps4 in mind from the beginning and not a port

Isn't there a download code in Battlefield 4 on PS3 where you can download the digital PS4 version for 10 quid?
Has Assassins Creed got any good? I found the first two to be boring.
Not sure, if that's the case its very tempting, think this will be the first year I don't bother with COD, unless the game deal lets you trade in for £40 off any ps4 game maybe buy it then trade it

Reading further, the GAME offer is for physical copies, the PSN deal for a tenner does apply to the UK also.

He was telling me that they had the Sony representatives in store a month or so back with ps4 consoles.
The geeky fat dude got to play the ps4 kill zone through the vita. He said that there was zero lag and he was utterly blown away by how well it works.
This guy doesn't have a preference for either Sony or Microsoft so his opinion was completely unbiased.

If this works as they promise it'll be amazing. I could basically be stuck in my bedroom playing Watch Dogs on a Vita and long term with Gaikai I could probably do it 300 km from home - Vita's sales would go through the roof it it ever happened.
Yup! The idea is amazing, just playing games in bed, or out in the garden or whatever would be brilliant, long distance streaming would be beyond awesome.

Who all is getting this? I went to preorder it far too late and now I won't be getting it on release. Any idea at all on when they should be available again after the release?
If you really want one, you will find one. Some stores will have walk-in stock, just gotta get there early. If you want to buy online you probably won't get one for release, but your best bet would be to go with the big retailers who are more likely to get re-stocked quicker, Amazon would be a decent bet.
I think I'm about to order off Amazon who seem to be saying before Christmas...

Comes out here Thursday night (well Friday, but at midnight), I'm getting it then. Have battlefield and Fifa pre ordered as well, but will probably add on assassins creed as well as I heard good things for it. Some people have ordered in the past week from amazon and have delivery dates of 28th December, check out some stores on the Sunday after as they probably won't hold preorders for more than 48 hours

I honestly didn't think it would be this hard to get a console for launch, was it this hard with ps3? I am sure I got mine pretty quickly.

Wow the PS4 is already coming? Im going to wait a few months until I can afford it and when the prices drop.

I waited until just a couple of years ago to get a PS3 so I doubt I'll be an early adopter of PS4. It'll be awhile, if at all - until my son is 6 years old or something and there will likely be a new console by then. I play so little as it is now

I don't understand either. The Wii sell out....yeah understandable, so was the PS2 one. But 8 years later, and 2 consoles in the same month, and both apparently hugely sold out. The Wii U's epic bomb might have played a part I guess I dunno.

Imagine the PS4 expects to sell 10m and the Xbox expects to sell 7m (no idea on the actual figures).
If the PS4 ship 12m and they sell 11m while the XBO are " sold out" at 7m the headlines don't look good for Sony with all the press reporting that the Xbone has "Sold Out" while the PS4 hasn't. It would paint an unrealistic picture. The same for The opposite way round which is why MS will make sure they sell out before putting more on the market as the last thing they want to happen is both companies not sell out and the media report that PS far outsell XBO.
Basically being "sold out" is great publicity.
When is it coming out and what's the price going to be then? I'm still on the fence about getting one of these.
