I've been playing this since the Amiga days, just YES!HOUSEMARQUE DEVELOPING A “SPIRITUAL SUCCESSOR” TO THE SUPER STARDUST FRANCHISE ON PLAYSTATION 4
23. May 2013 | No comments | No shares | housemarque
Helsinki, Finland, May 23 – Housemarque, the award winning developer of downloadable hit titles such as Dead Nation, Outland and Super Stardust HD, announced they are hard at work on a (still unnamed) “spiritual successor” to the Super Stardust franchise. The game will be released as a PlayStation®4 (PS4) exclusive.
“We are super excited to be working on Sony’s next-gen hardware,” said Housemarque’s CEO Ilari Kuittinen. “The platform’s performances are enabling us to do things that wouldn’t be possible otherwise and we truly believe that better technology can lead to better gameplay. The more tools and resources we have at our disposal, the better. Think of Super Stardust HD: at the time, PlayStation 3 gave us the opportunity to populate the game with thousands of interactive objects and implement the game’s famous ‘spherical gameplay’. Today, we can take advantage of the architecture of PlayStation 4 to create incredible visuals with direct impact on the way the new game feels.”
Following a long-standing tradition of partnerships with Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios Europe, Housemarque is currently busy with the above-mentioned title along with another unannounced PS4 project. More information on both games will be released in the upcoming months.

feck you Microsoft!
Don't feck this up now Sony!
Who would have thought (apart from weaste obviously) that after their poor no console showing launch event Sony would be in pole position leading into E3.
FFS! Nintendoh have their machines in stores and xbox has at least been shown but it is the mysterious coy PS4 that has gamers eyes.
Don't feck it up!
Guess what, Sony is not going to feck this up!
The funny bit is when the PS4 doesn't look like a tank and is half the volume of the Xbone.
Will it be £12?The funny bit is when the PS4 doesn't look like a tank and is half the volume of the Xbone.
Why do people keep saying the 360 battered the PS3? In the beginning it did but the PS3 has outsold in worldwide now despite its late launch and all the early problems it had
Xbox 360 battered the PS3 so I'm going to hold off this time for a good while before I even think of buying one. Last time I made the mistake of buying one for GT5 alone and not only was it delay after delay but also sucked arse compared to Forza 2 even, anyway. Always exciting to see the previews though upon next gen releases.

Not to mention that PS3 is still more expensive than the 360, and a quite a few 360s sold were resales due to the horrible failure rate.
Alot of ps3 sales will be down to wanting a slimmer version so it works both ways
Doubt many people replaced a working PS3 for a slim one. Plus also, as someone said you've had the the various configurations of the 360 and also the 2010 redesign.
How many 360 versions were there again? Arcade, Elite, Slim, Original etc etc

I havent replaced mine. It was an original 20gb model (with an upgraded hard drive now) so... 6 years? 7 years?
