Gaming PlayStation 4 (Console)

I'm in the beta - but afraid I can't test this as I only have 1 drive. Not sure why you'd want more than 1 though - just get a big one
I can see the benefit of being able to use both the internal and external hard drives simultaneously. If you only used an external one, wouldn't you lose processing speed compared to just replacing the internal one?

Are you sure you're not getting confused with how you can only move and not copy saves between the hard drives?
Wasn't aware of that, nope.

eh? of course you can have the external and internal hard drive at the same time? that's what I'm doing now.

I thought you meant more than 1 external drive.

Selling my 1TB PS4 (bought late 2015) plus FIFA 17, PES 16 and Black Ops III. Has controller, charger wire and HDMI cable too and has barely been used to be honest.

Any ideas how much I should be asking for? I set it out at £200 initially.

(Not trying to sell on here: just asking for advice)

FIFA is probably worth around 30, the other 2 barely 10 together. Charging wire, controller, come on these things are assumed to be there.

It is 1 TB so you can try, but I think you'll probably have to drop it a bit.

Oh I know the controller etc is standard but just wanted to make sure people didn't think I wasn't including it.

Yeah, was just testing the waters a bit but got no response so thought I was aiming a bit high. Will drop it to 175 and see what happens. Cheers

Sold my day 1 Ps4 with uograded HDD to 1TB back in November for 170 with cables and 1 DS4.

I have the PS4 Pro hooked up to the 4K Sammy and it's a lovely machine.

Much quieter than the PS4. Make sure you stand it in space though - my mate has his sitting under his tv in a unit with shelves and the console gets extremely loud and hot when running 4K content like Battlefield 1.

I've already been using an external drive for playing TV shows and movies on the media player, but it often does not recognize it or disconnects if I leave it paused too long so hopefully the update helps with that issue. My

So the pro is the only one that plays the 4k?

Son of a bitch. I just went and bought a top notch 4KTV tonight for my son's room. He told me it didn't look the same as his friends game.
I've been using my 4KTV for ages thinking the PS4 had it to upgrade.
That's a shame - can't you trade his current PS4 towards a Pro?

What do you get? I've got two
Can't remember what I got sorry. But it was a decent amount towards a Pro.

Are you in the U.K.? Give your local GAME store a call and ask them how much trade will you receive towards a Pro. Say you want instore credit, not cash (you get more that way.)

I have two rooms. Is it worth it?
What do you mean?

Is the pro worth it? It depends. Not every game is 4K but most games will be given an upgrade visually and I think performance wise.

Plus you have the 1TB of memory. I personally love my Pro, it's a lovely machine.

I havea few more bedrooms than mine and my boy.
Do I trade in all of them our just the two. Is it worth it?

2 4KTVs. Is trading in another two with it? What about the xbox one?
I think I've got two more Ps4s. Is that worth it

If you have 4K TVs then I would personally make sure every set has a PS4 Pro.

The Xbox One is ok but mine is gathering dust - the PS4 has better games and cleaner, quicker UI.

No just the two
Oh right I thought you said you have 5! Ya to be fair like most technology like that it will come down in price fairly quick. I'm hoping to get one myself in the next year or two. Hoping to save up enough that I can get a top of the range one as I'll get plenty of use out of it and I see it as a long term investment.

The living room is pretty top notch. The boys room is semi. The rest are normal leds smart tvs.
I paid more for mine than the rest of them combined. The only reason id really upgrade is if the 4k is really worth it to see me kick his ass on streetfighter

Can i just ask, if anybody are as bothered with the loading times on the PS4 as me? A single BF1 match easily takes upwards five minutes to get into from launch
