Should I get a Slim or hang back and get a Pro when I get a 4K TV.....whenever that'll be. I can get a Slim for £125 due to nectar points and vouchers at Sainsburys.

True, maybe @Damien can think of a way to let caftards know it exists.... as for private games? I think people tend to congregate in group messages or other communities, I would have thought it would be easier to use the community they have a dedicated app and everything.

So my optical drive seems to be fecked. I keep getting the error message "Cannot start application" or "Cannot read Disc. Ejecting Disk" and it gets ejected. Any advise? I tried most of the stuff they said online (other than opening the system)
My son scratched one of my discs. Or it was already scratched, as I bought it second hand. Either way, have you checked the disc?
You can probably replace the drive pretty easily.

Yeah, blow into it with some compressed air. The internet goes on about compressed air like it's the cure for aids. I'm like, I'm not buying some compressed air for £5 off amazon, what a rip off. But still, compressed air to blow any dust/lint/whatever out of the optical drive.
Are the new discs coming out scratched? Try watching a dvd on it (that you dont like) so that the disc drive has to do some work (as the disc drives dont actually take much data from the Blu-Rays once it's installed).
Replacing the Disc Drive shouldn't be that difficult. Unfortunately I can't see a good seller on Amazon. So.. who knows
Moneys not really an issue, except it'll be a pure console for Naughty Dog and a few exclusives, so gonna go get the Uncharted 4 Package with whatever game I fancy for £10 on top, then pick up the remasters. Don't play enough, nor have a 4K TV to warrant getting a PSPro really. Will wait on the Scorpio for my 4K console.

I've tried most of them to see how it goes. I've got a bigger backlog of xbox one games aswell I just buy buy buy and hardly ever play, or play the same games repeatedly.

I'm playing SOMA at the minute, really highly recommend this if you like sci-fi horror games. It's actually very thought provoking too concerning the nature of reality & what it means to be human. should be pretty cheap on the PS Store
Some previews for Horizon - Zero Dawn now out, all the ones I've seen so far a very positive on the game. Looking forward to this one.
I remember being excited a year and a half ago when I first saw a trailer for it. That excitement faded a bit as I felt it would be good to temper my excitement, but these last few videos I've seen showing off the gameplay, the size of the world, the promise of a rich narrative both in the now and in trying to figure out what happened to advanced society... these things have me firmly excited again 
Was lucky enough to go around Guerilla not that long a go and got to see the game. I can't say too much but I'm definitely looking forward to it.

Massive props to Sony for selling 57 million PS4's.
Say what you will about Sony but they know how to sell consoles, even their supposed worst console (PS3) has sold 86 million.

In a racing title, that's a significant and very noticeable difference. Games designed with full Pro support can tap into that extra power more efficiently of course, but it's still nice to have.

Rumouredly, the new update only allows you to use one storage device at a time ?
I'm in the beta - but afraid I can't test this as I only have 1 drive. Not sure why you'd want more than 1 though - just get a big one
Are you sure you're not getting confused with how you can only move and not copy saves between the hard drives?
