Gaming PlayStation 4 (Console)

Bought Metro Redux yesterday. The graphics are insanely good but the gameplay is decent at best. I'd still recommend it for 20 quid though.

Father is still alive.

I got it too but I am yet to play it. For half the price of a standard game you get two very good games which was a no brainer. I am playing Diablo 3 with mates for the weekend though and it's too addictive to even think about Metro, I will get down to it after the weekend.

Exactly, it was a no brainer. The gameplay isn't bad by any stretch, but when you've played FPS's such as Battlefied, it just feels a bit off. Still enjoying it though.

I don't think you get the point of the gameplay there, it's supposed to be different. For a start it's not a straight forward fps, secondly you play a kid that's why the shooting tries to make you feel like you really have to work at it.

It cannot be compared to a straightforward and simple game like battlefield! That's a very different game.

Diablo 3 is absolutely astonishing for a co-op. We have spent about 10 hours this weekend with mates playing it aready, we liteally have no lives right now because of Diablo.

What do you think the PS4 would have looked like if Ken was still in charge? Lordy lordy!

Are you lot mic'd up? I love couch coop with it but never tried online coop...

Oh yeah.. a VISA debit/credit card should work though?

Paypal works.

A) Set up a US account with a false address, preferably in a state such as Montana that has no sales tax.
B) Buy shit with PayPal (you can't use a non-US credit card ), or through PSN pre-paid credit.
C) Do not mix up DLC and game downloads from different regions - they will not work together.

It's as simple as that!

To be safe, set up a US PayPal account, you don't need to link a card to it. Just transfer cash into it from your normal PayPal account. which is free if you send the money as a gift.
See? now this sounds promising... how do I set up a US pp account? (from the UK)

Nvm, I set up a New Hampshire paypal a/c.... I've just sent 50£, but it's not shown up yet. How long does it take?

Nice one Weaste, just copped Diablo III... hope this works...

I need a new game as I've flogged Watchdogs, Fifa, Battlefield, COD and NBA in recent times.

Do I just wait for Destiny or is there anything worth grabbing at a bargain price?

That account needs to have the PS4 set as its primary console if you want other accounts to be able to play the games. That's the only problem. Also, you don't have PS+ under that US account, so forget multiplayer on that account!

I've been thinking about but it's not sucked me in yet. I'm guessing you've got it? Care to share your thoughts?

Obviously Destiny Fifa COD and GTA will be the big sellers in autumn and I expect to purchase at least 2 of those but it annoys me that I've got my £350 console sat there collecting dust.

Getting the white Destiny bundle from Gamestop. Any other games from the past year worth a shot? I heard the latest Wolfenstein was decent

Nah, my copy hasn't arrived yet. But if you like a survival horror with a good story then that is your sort of game. Another game I would recommend is Wolfenstein. Which had the best FPS campaign that I played in years.

Has anyone bought these additional rubbers for a PS4 pad? One of mine has worn out pretty badly lately and rubbers on sticks will fall out sooner or later so I ordered four new rubber stick covers - not sure about the quality of it because they are versatile (all of them in the store were) as in they work with PS3, PS4, Xbox One etc. Will they be any good? Do I just put them over current ones and that's all? They cost feck all, £1 for 4 pieces.

Nice, how much did it cost?
60$

Mine still look like they did when I put them on, can't remember the brand but 2 were dimpled and 2 had 4 dimples, they were around 2-4£ from Amazon...

The ones I bought are still faultless. They were a bitch to get on though!

I got another set for £7, apparently very good quality and it's not the sort for money I'd mind spending for a bit extra comfort. The cheap ones I bought are pretty bulky, the ones I ordered later fit the PS4 pad better because they have been designed specifically for DS4. I don't particularly trust covers that work with all pads, something must be off with fitting.

My blue pad is still in a decent condition to be fair so in the meantime before these rubbers are delivered I will use it.
