Gaming PlayStation 4 (Console)

I use the covers and they come off every once in a while (like once a month) and a pain in the arse to get back on mid-game but they do what they are supposed to do. I put them on straight away as one of my two controllers started wearing within the first week.

Been playing Metro Redux this weekend starting with 2033. Was in two minds about getting it but glad I did. Took me the first couple of chapters to get into it but I'm gripped now. The atmosphere & setting is great. Pretty creepy at times :nervous:.

Sooo... was there anything interesting shown?

Persona 5 coming to PS4 and Bloodborne getting a release date of February 5th, 2015.

I also read the PS4 2.0 update might be coming out this month but not sure if thats rumour or fact.

DriveClub reminds me of Grid 2.

Metro is great. I thought it would be another shooter but it's more of a Bioshock in that it has a good story to follow (well it's based on a bestselling book after all) and a great setting. I'm playing Survival which is probably more difficult but also more fun.

Same here I'm pleasantly surprised at how good it is. I'm doing it on survival too which I'm enjoying although you need to keep finding filters. I had to go back a couple of chapters at one point as I was stuck in a situation where I had nowhere near enough filters to get to the next point without dying.

Any new PS4 owners with kids, get this.

Should be able to pick it up quite cheap now. It got a lot of hate for some reason, but I had fun with it on playthrough, and my kids have had a total blast with it in their 3 co-op playthroughs, non-stop laughing all the game through.

Yet it looks nothing like it and plays nothing like it. The GRID games were trash!

They really weren't. Grid 2 was decent but it was more of a mix between arcade and sim in comparison to the first game.

Yep. Though I actually prefer the original version of Metro 2033.

I wish they'd do Stalker for this generation, most of you would love that game.

What are the differences?

I'm not sure I'll be able to finish it on Survival. It apparently becomes frustrating with time.

DriveClub looks amazing to be fair.

It does.

It does.

The original is a slightly bit more of a faster shooter. I'm finding the redux a bit slow and plodding and the changes to the inventory and shops to be more awkward. I think they should have left it to just upgrading the graphics, they's tried to be too clever. In fact the original graphics would have easily held up today because they would have pushed a ps4 anyway.

Just got mine, plugged stuff in and downloaded some shit on PSN. Won't be playing it untill new FIFA is out though, tight on budget and all that. Anything I should know ?
