Gaming PlayStation 4 (Console)

Take it your referring to the last of us, Outstanding game. I have it on ps3 and the game experience is already so good, i cant justify buying a 349 pound system to play it remastered, Even though it looks staggeringly good. If I was living under a rock last gen, and didnt play TLOU, i would 100% go out and grab it in fairness.
I was under the rock, and TLoU will probably be the thing that finally sucks me in to next-gen.

My new PC rig I put together nearly made consoles irrelevant, but not entirely I guess...

Too many GOTY nominations are console exclusives for me to ever do that.

I bought it too recently. Also, I want to keep Wolfenstein. I will probably play through it again, making a different choice early on.

Yea im still living of a top end pc i build 5/6 years ago. really lucky with the components i bought, can still run anything that comes out decently. but at some point i really want to adopt a ps4.

Can't wait for tomorrow. What should I play this on first time through? Normal or hard? Also is it a long game?

Start how you want, if you want to platinum it you'll need to play every difficulty more than once anyway. The story is about 20ish hours if I remember correctly.
You don't have to play every difficulty. You could play normal on first playthrough and survivor plus on 2nd and get them all

When I completed it on hard I got the normal and easy trophies too

Ok thanks. I'm gna add a few people on the PS4 id list so if you get a friend request from WhiskeyJack it's me. :)

So, last few weeks I've started considering going next gen, mainly for the new Fifa, WWE and Arkham Knight - leaning firmly towards the PS4, worth the upgrade if I get the money?

Yeah. You're gonna get one at some point anyway, you'll probably get enough out of it before a price drop to make it worth that little bit extra.

Yeah there's some good games coming out over the next few months, now is a great time to get a new console.

Cant wait to play The Last Of Us tomorrow, my expectations are so high after all the praise its got, I'm just worried it wont live up to the expectation.

No.

I got all three consoles and the one I play the most is the Wii U. Unless you a fan of remasters then don't bother this year. A bit crap when the games I'm looking forward to are Last of us, GTA and Halo.

I already got about 14 games not finished on my next gen consoles.

How much do you play FIFA Duffy because the next gen version is by far better than the the PS3 version.

I think if you are in a position of being able to buy one then by all means yes, upgrade. They are going to start stretching their legs in the winter and the early 2015 lineup is insane.

Your be mad not to absolutely love it. It was fecking fantastic on the PS3. The story line and telling is top notch, characters spot on. A masterpiece

Bought AC: Blackflag, had a bit of a lull in the market after the Destiny Beta closed. Not bad so far, amazing visuals.

AC4 is pretty good. The storyline is garbage and the eavesdropping "missions" made me want to throw the f*cking disc out the window. Other than that, it's decent.

They really should have made the temples and buildings you find on random islands more interesting, though.

So there's still not any good games for this, really?

I don't think I'll get onto Destiny.

Any other games I should look out for?

Anyone bothering with diablo 3? Loved 2, but never bothered with 3 as didn't have a gaming PC this time round. Could imagine it being awkward with a controller though

TLOU Remastered is beautiful. 60fps, smooth as butter and everything is so crisp.

Double dip is worth it.

I can only speak about the PC version, was so disappointed by it that I didn't bother even checking the console one out. If you are looking for something to kill time with, then I'd reckon you might enjoy it. I fell victim to my own hype I guess.

Early TLOU spoiler...

Hanging upside shooting Zombies...

Intense! Had to switch it off afterwards because it took me forever. My aim isn't great at the best of times!

Got last of us remastered, playing through on survivor as I completed it on hard a year back on ps3, loving it even more than I did first time around
