Gaming PlayStation 4 (Console)

Because I liked the game and would like to play it again. What's strange about it?

Unless you've sold your PS3 copy, you could play it again right now, without shelling out however much it'll be again!

I sold it though, just after I finished it. I usually do that with games I buy for full price knowing I could pick them up in 6-8 months for next to nothing. In this case I'd rather pick up a next-gen version, obviously, to see how they have enhanced it.

Well then that's fine. I own a copy for the PS3, I may even give it a play through on the hardest difficulty at some point but I wouldn't buy it again just because it's got more framerates or something.

Gonna save my pennies for Drive Club.

Between September and November I calculated that, if I am conservative, I will be spending around £400 on games. If I just buy what I fancy it will be something like £600.

Same for me. I am already saving up for the spending spree that's coming. August is the last month where I can keep it tight-ish.

I am kind of hoping that some of the upcoming games get terrible reviews so I can save some dough.

Never brought the game, borrowed it off a mate. I'll buy it for another playthrough, plus I haven't played the DLC.

Better warn the relatives they won't be getting much for Christmas!

Seems like Fall will be great for gaming though, we can't complain.

It is unannounced as far as I can tell. I had a quick Google earlier because I want it.

The graphics look amazing. Online play could be very amusing.

I remember play Jimmy White's Snooker on the Amstrad!!

Those graphics look fantastic - but its all about how they implement power control. I assume it would be with the stick, but could you do it with the touchpad?

You guys are making me very jealous, I've to wait until fecking Friday for TLOU. Never played it and hardly watched any gameplay videos to avoid spoiling it. Can't wait!

It uses the stick. Touchpad is used to glance around the table.

same here!

is it hard to play for someone who doesn't like this typical shooter games like cod?

This isn't a typical shooter game like CoD - as far from what I understand, in that it is more about stealth and balancing resources and figuring the right approach. You won't have the resources to go in all guns blazing!

It's nothing like COD. It's a third person game so Unchartered might be a better comparison. I see it as a more refined Unchartered actually, where what you do in gameplay is not disconnected from the storyline. Nathan Drake's surprise and uncomfort at his partner pulling out a gun in a cut scene is so jarring when he kills an army (or two) in gameplay.

Just had my first experience of clickers. Not cool.

I'm actually stuck as well. I had to switch it off.

Do most of you keep your PS4 turned off, or in standby?

Mine is always in standby when I or the kids are not using it. It downloads shit for you. I can go to the PSN store on a PC or phone or VITA, get stuff, and the fecker just downloads it before you get home. It's also helpful for remote play with the VITA... I can use it wherever, whenever.

It's very early on. Just after you sneak past the very first clicker and then drop down alone into a new section. There's one regular zombie on his own to the right which I can easily choke but the others and the clicker are all dicking about together.

Little Big Planet 3 released 18th November in the US. Likely 21st here. I hope it's shite.
