Nah I love my PS4 but there's no contest when you try and compare it to a PC. The only real argument console gamers can throw around is the price of the hardware but even that gap is starting to shorten and when you take into account the savings on games for PC vs console you will get that money back and then some in the long run. Steam is one of the best things to ever happen to gaming.

I'm just saying a top end PC that is able to run games at 60 fps at ultra settings is the pinnacle of gaming at the moment. Yes the PS4 is cheaper and having one myself I love the console but still when it comes to gaming I prioritise for PC when I can.
A PS4 is cheaper? Go look at the fps benchmarks for popular games and tell me what type of rig you need to hit a locked 60fps on ultra settings......

Yeah it's expensive but still for those who can get a high end PC there's nothing to compare it with. I mean I have a med-high end rig and can play most games on high-ultra settings and it 'only' cost me £700 last year, I'd like to think that the savings on games will have already knocked £100 off that and with Steam sales every few months that amount is only going to get bigger.

Like I said though I'm not having a dig at consoles I couldn't be happier with my PS4, I never had a PS3 so I can't wait for TLOU and other games on PS now. But no matter the cost ultra settings on PC is incredible for some games and you don't always need a GTX Titan to get such settings my 7970 hits ultra quite often and that's a £200 card.

Half the point I was making is that if Naughty Dog tried to make a PC game it would blow the fecking rest out of the water . because that's how good they are, but they don't make PC games, they make games on the fixed hardware that they work with. Sure, other developers can get close or surpass Uncharted 4 with brute force, but feck the electricity bill and fan noise.

Another note to this shitfest of feck knows what that went on today. Along with Lambs I'm one of those that is not happy with the PS4 CPU solution at all. I've commented on that enough.
I agree what you've been saying all along that PC is a very generic term and should not be used when gaming machines are in discussion.
Another thing that I don't understand is people comparing "PC" mods to actual game developers. I mean, they just play tricks with what develepors have done with power, time and money constraints.

When they release the revised PS3 at a lower cost, which depends on the production of the new much smaller Cell and RSX. We know they have these chips, it's just that currently they are all going into the PlayStation Now servers.
3D is a pointless gimmick.

3D is definitely supported in games, Trine 2 and Pinball Zen 2 show up and play in 3D.
Haven't tried any of my BluRay discs in the tray so don't know if that plays 3D so I take it that's what you are complaining about?
