You know you can get youtube to work flawlessly on the ps4 even though an app doesn't exist right??

Just tried out the Remote Play, not bad, my Wifi isn't the best though, and has quite a few devices running on it, nor is the router in the same room I used the Vita & PS4.
Was able to polish off a level of Resogun, faff about in Assassins Creed, and solve a puzzle in Contrast. Surprisingly Contrast was the most glitchy.
Certainly less glitchy than a youtube vid on my laptop.
Surprised how much I like Resogun. Immense game, reminds me vaguely of Viewpoint on the PSX, with the waves of enemies and firepower in patterns and the vibrant colours, though Resogun is much more colourful.

The remote play is an excellent addition. It has worked brilliantly for me

If you have a decent router, remote play works the best if the PS4 is wired (if you can't do that investigate the possibility of using those adaptors that give you a wired connection through your electricity sockets), it's even better than the direct connection between both devices in my experience.

Great game, If you have not got it on PS3 I would definitely recommend buying on PS4.
Wiring it might be possible, but it'd be a lot of work, must look up the adaptors too.
The problem is that if you are not wired the PS4 is doing everything wirelessly. So, having it wired improves your direct PS4 to VITA WiFi as well.
For example, mine the other day did some update to something, I think it was Contrast, if that had happened wirelessly whilst I was also playing via remote play wirelessly then you can imagine that there might have been a problem.

Yeah, it'd definitely be the best situation, but I'd need to find about 40 foot of wire, and then find a a way to feed it through some very awkward spots.

If your physical layout isn't suitable, as I said, get those electricity network adaptors, You can get two for less than 40 quid and it will be far better.

Games are mostly fine now. Even battlefield 4 works.
Rubber on the sticks is it really. And even that is pretty rare.
Infamous second son looks fantastic, and I say that as someone who didn't like the earlier ones. After that, probably watch dogs is the next big release. Infamous is out in March, watchdogs supposed to be in the spring I believe but exact date unknown.
The camera doesn't do much. I wouldn't bother with it.

Have the games been patched (the ones which weren't working)?
Yeah the only one I can recall with significant issues was Battlefield 4 (NBA might have..I haven't played it personally) and they've been patching that one non stop. Battlefield issues are basically fixed now, haven't had the sound cut out for a long time and it doesn't seem to crash at all any more.
I think I heard both Fifa, and Assassins Creed kept crashing out too, probably the 2 games I would get first too.

On a personal level, with my two days experience I can tell you that both my games seem fine, Killzone and Assassins Creed, though I've mostly played Assassins.

) and Contrast.Can't speak for Assassins Creed, but Fifa actually runs like a dream compared to the old consoles. Very happy with it.

I pretty much had to take the only PS4 that was available, which luckily enough was just the console. Killzone is gorgeous, I've only had a quick go, but I'm not sure is it really better than the Vita one, otherwise. Of course the Vita one had early access to sniper rifles, which leaves me heavily biased.
I seriously doubt that 500gb will be enough, probably need to get one of them beast solid state drives at some point.
