PL Matchday 2 | 24/8/24 - 25/8/24

Gusto is a very good fullback going both ways, but this inverted role is a waste of him.

Why they don't just do that with Cucurella on the other side, who is much more suited to it, and much less of a threat on the overlap is baffling to me.

Chelsea have had more shots on target in 30 mins than we did in 97... and three isn't exactly brilliant

Great goal and well deserved by Wolves. Ait-Nouri is one to watch.
Always thought Ait Nouri was a very solid left back ever since he joined Wolves.
He’s still young and progressed a lot.
He’d be a good shout for us I reckon

Got to love an unnecessary swipe at United during the Sunday afternoon games  Garnacho's shot was going on target (and into the net) had Zirkzee not been interfering on the goal line.

"had not" is doing a lot of heavy lifting there. If my granny had wheels, she'd be a truck

Must be one heavy gran you have if you're comparing her to a truck instead of a lighter vehicle.

Anyway, if your point was that we should've sacked Ten Hag and replaced him with Leicester's manager, because of the shots on target the two of them oversaw this weekend, then I'm glad you're not the decision maker at United.

Gusto who made the tackle, but Palmer got the yellow. Then Chelsea counter and score. We would have had a second yellow

Lad's unreal. Will never get over barely using him when he's this confident at the Euros.

Stupid Wolves. Play that well and then concede a goal like that.

What a stupid goal to concede. Don't see why the commentator is going so orgasmic on that goal. Keeper was so out of position and the ball was bouncing perfectly for Palmer.

Newcastle feel like a Big Sam team these days. Just a bit physical pragmatic side.

I think not enough is made of the fees of Mudryk, Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez and the shite performances they’ve been putting for a year now

The PL has been shite to start this season but this Wolves Chelsea game has been a hell of a watch.

At no stage have I said either or those things. I'd actually forgotten where Chelsea got him from! I do, however, question whether ETH's performances warranted a contract extension yet... I would also like to know how Brighton keep finding the right fit for their club

Yea claiming it's a goal of the season contender. It was more that Wolves were all at sea.

Brighton have had their recruitment setup spot on for years. We've only recently got rid of Murtough and Arnold.

Amazing viewing for a neutral but as a fan (specially Chelsea) I would be worried how open they are

This is going to be Chelsea this season.
Infinitely more entertaining than the borefest that was last season.

This game is a great advert for why defending should get worse. Makes for a much better watch.
